Ubuntu 17.04 with the Gnome Shell did not look very polished, so I switched to Fedora instead. After making some tweaks, it looks like I'm going to stick with Fedora now after using Ubuntu for more than 4 years.
The current installation is Fedora 26 with:
• GNU/Linux 4.11.10,
• Gnome Shell 3.24.2 (with a few extensions),
• Arc-Darker GTK+ theme,
• Paper icon theme,
• Pali terminal colour theme, from Gogh
• And a pretty wallpaper! (http://wallup.net/wp-content/...)33
Recently bought a new touch laptop. After trying Manjaro, Ubuntu and a couple of linux distros, I switched to Fedora. I simply love how it's so smooth.5
I just created my first service under systemd.
Having never made one under sysVinit I don't know how difficult it is, but I found this to be fairly easy.
Hey but..Fedora 27 is good..very good!
Thank you Red Hat.
Default workstation distribution for me now.
When I shared my terminal setup with a bit of ricing to a Telegram group, someone asked what my terminal was. I said it was just the default terminal on my Fedora 27. Not that XTerm stuff or any other extra terminal emulators. He still insists that every terminal has a name. He's right.
I shall name my terminal "Default".3
