One thing that’s a shocker and frankly very weird for people who have always used Android, is that iPhone doesn’t show any progress notif for anything whatsoever. Like dude.. I want things to happen in background and see progress in notif bar. But no, not in iPhone. You either wait for things to finish in foreground or do it explicitly inside the relevant app.
For example, when you want to send a big video on WhatsApp via Photos, you have to wait on the Photos screen until it’s sent otherwise it fucking fails. Like dude.. wtf?! Why can’t that happen in background?
On top of this, things that can happen in background have so limited processing power to themselves (because iPhone doesn’t like things happening in background; we have already established that though) that they just crawl until done and sometimes fail.
Another thing is that there are no fucking loading indicators. You touch something and then the guessing games starts whether you touched it correctly or not. Like dude.. I know your phone got a superfast processor but sometimes things take time to happen. You gotta give some kind of indication that things are happening ffs!
I know security and all, but dude you gotta give me something! Don’t make me suffer for little things.
Dude.. fuck you!6 -
Erm, instead of trying to guess my gender, just put “Dear <first name>” and leave it at that. It’s actually quite insulting

What movies/reality around me tells about free time:
- the "grand parents" generation (people who are in there 70-80s now) used to go out hang in tea shops, bars, parks, churches , wander in fields, chop woods in their leisure time in their 40s
The "parents" generation (people who are in their 30-40s now) were more into sports and would go for basketball , soccer , cricket for leisure time and later transitioned to playing board games/video games /xbox-PlayStation stuff/comics In their leisure time
The "our generation"(people who are between 18-30 now) are/would be more into playing mobile games and watching anime/web series/movies/weird porn and scrolling social media feed as leisure time in our 40s
( I have taken 40s as a criteria because i am guessing that as a standard age where you are "settled" and have things figured out)
Is this how the pattern is going? And isn't it sad that we are Going from doing stuff that's fun and making you street smart to doing stuff that's useless , time wasting and a little depressing ?5 -
"I'm Done Guessing My MMR – Riot, Just Tell Me Already!"
Okay, so let me RANT for a second.
You know what's worse than losing a ranked game?
Losing one after carrying your entire team, just to lose -15 LP, and then queueing up with teammates who look like they just installed the game five minutes ago.
At this point, I'm like:
"What even is my MMR? Am I cursed? Did I anger the League gods?"
Every time I win 3 games in a row, it feels like Riot rewards me with the most questionable teammates imaginable. Like, I legit had a Yuumi who built mobility boots first. MOBILITY BOOTS. Why, bro? Where are you running? 😭
I started thinking maybe it’s not just bad luck... maybe it’s my MMR secretly tanking while my LP lies to me. So I went down the rabbit hole—looking for any way to figure it out.
LoL MMR Checker actually gives you a solid estimate of your hidden matchmaking rating. Finally, I could see if I was punching above my weight or getting soft-carried by the system. Turns out, my MMR was lower than my current rank. Riot’s matchmaking wasn’t broken—I was just barely clinging to my tier. 😅
Moral of the story?
Never trust LP.
Trust the data.
Save your sanity.
