One whole week of no coding.. Holiday..
Getting more anxious by the minute..

I have an irrational fear that I'll be sacked when I come back from a holiday.

I came back from my holiday this morning and within seconds of sitting down I was asked to not login because "we needed a quick chat"... Great start to the week....

(Wasn't sacked btw)

Going to France for a week on Sunday. First time away without a computer, I do have my iPhone though. Should I read my emails or ignore them? Hope things don't turn to shit.

why does every other culture get a horrific holiday entity that strikes fear in the hearts of children? all we have in america is a fat guy invented by corporations.

The holidays are the worst period: since I am the only dev, my boss get into the code, and I receive multiple messages - calls the explain "why this is so bad" and even "when you come back from vacation we need to talk about a lot of problems".

So, everything worked when I was there because of magic, it seems...

I am struggling to have a holiday that includes no work. I keep on panicking at random times that I'll forget to code if I go any longer. Very silly fear I know but it's happening. I dont wanna feel like I have to rediscover my path around my projects when I get back to them. So i think of their structures and things needed to complete them from time to time just to make sure I am on track.
