everything microsoft makes is SHIT
for example, windows, and the fact that they bought out minecraft and ruined it with their bullshit "child friendly" feature
vscode's liveshare is ACTUALLY MAKING ME LOSE MY DAMN MIND TRYING TO WORK WITH SOMEONE
just now i was writing code and i realized, it wasn't even updating the file at all, it was just pretending to save changes, while on the hoster's end, nothing changed. at all
i had to rejoin the session 500 times, tell the host to restart, and it was generally a whole nightmare
nothing i typed in applied to the other end, and there were already 50+ errors from nothing in the php file i was working on
and it was erroring out at the most RANDOM spots, where nothing is wrong at all with the code, it was picking up something invalid, but NOT SHOWING ME WHAT WAS WRONG
i rejoined and saw a shit ton of test, an if that i never saw before i rejoined
in general why does everything microsoft make have to be so bad, and unreliable

Pair programming. I noticed my productivity and motivation skyrocketed when I found about VS LiveShare, so now I share all of my code sessions. even if nobody's there, i still work more because I like showing my progress to others.

How can some developers take a full remote position when they work in a team?

I really appreciate the in real life contact with my team members, to discuss code, solve brain cracking problems together, doing peer programming etc

The days I have worked at home were good for focusing at my own tasks but I missed the team feeling.

Sure with tools you can share screens, collab on code via liveshare in vscode, use Skype to talk and what not but there is no random coworker passing by who takes a look what your doing and helps u with a problem that he knows how to fix

Just a small example why I prefer being at the office

Resharper and Visual Studio LiveShare got locked up and made coding impossible. Turned off my PC for tonight. Will look again in the morning and seek a solution.

Can anyone recommend any good code/screen sharing tools?

My use case is that I have a Windows work laptop with a garbage keyboard and I want to share my editor with my personal MacBook without having to clone the repo there or actually share any files.

I tried Live Share on VS Code but the shared terminal barely ever works, and you can't stage files from the editor GUI. I imagine something like TeamViewer would be very slow for this?
I'm not sure if there's any tool that covers this use case or if I should just stick with Live Share and try to workaround its issues. :/
