'your good with computers right'?

Me: I work with one every day so I guess...

Can you fix a problem I have with my pc? (relatively old man, and I feel bad for him so I agreed)

Next day he had me fix 4 laptops (from his kids) and a Macbook of his own almost all had shady malware and were WAY behind of their windows updates... Like sub wannacry level...

Rip one of day of my vacation 😠

I think my MacBook Pro from early 2011 is ready for retirement 😔 froze two times today during gaming...

MacBook died, currently in the lab, have a TERRIBLE dual core T4200, 3GB ram temp laptop replacement with VISTA.

Which Linux OS should I replace it for Dev/uni sake for few days? Considering that I don't have too much time on my hand to fix the tiniest headaches that comes after a Linux installation.

Like I'm looking for a distro that just works and is good.

I really need to but a new laptop, my current 2012 MacBook Air with 4gb of ram can’t take the workload anymore. But it’s so hard to find a good alternative ! The new MacBook Pro sucks and it’s so fucking expensive (and I don’t want the silly touch bar). The competition isn’t much better, most laptops with the same quality doesn’t allow you to upgrade the ram and are about the same price range than the MacBook. Really , I miss the days we had good, affordable, upgradable choices (RIP MacBook Pro 2012).

Bright side: I can move to linux now, thinking about booting up ubuntu or may be arch linux. 😅😁
