I always use "less" to display log files, always hoping the server gets what I mean by typing
less error.log #plz2 -
So I found some weird library included in this legacy code, didn't really get what it does and why it's there though.
Turns out there's nothing to be found on the internet about it. Absolutely nothing.
So after browsing through the directory structure a bit more I discover a README file. Hoping for answers I opened it, only to find this...3 -

So I was looking at the linux environment at my new job. Found 2 VM's in the local network, only one of them is documented. Noone knows about the other one or what it does, let alone usernames and passwords.
Spent over an hour trying to break in, only to find out that a couple of bored devs, that have long since left the company, set up a game server on there and noone noticed it for the past 3 years..5 -
