Good deed done for he day, my friend was versioning his application by using zip folders with the date as the name of the folder. Introduced him to git because the university hasn't thought us how to use it yet and now he is delighted! Note I'm in my final year and college has barely mentioned using version control

A lecturer just told a class of final year developers approx 50 people that commenting our code should be banned and we shouldn't write comments within our code in case we cause confusion2

I am currently learning angular.js and in index.html I call two different controller files. I have spent the last 5 hours of my life looking for the error when the issue was that when I opened the script tag I didn't notice that type="controller.js" instead of src="controller.js" because of auto finish please kill me now for this terrible mistake that has almost annoyed the fuck out of me and forced me to walk away from my computer on multiple occasions to try and figure out the issue6

Don't think I could love IT anymore then I do now! Currently and intern and was stressing a small bit about what I wanted to do after college (i.e. web development, mobile development, security) then came to the realisation that I can do whatever i want. I don't think any other profession has such a freedom within industry and that is why love IT so much. Looking forward to many more years of learning and developing my skills2

Was looking at the TV schedule and saw that django unchained was on and for two seconds I actually thought that it was going to be a documentary on Python and developing web applications with django3

My experience with a recruiter is for the internship I'm currently half way though the manager that interviewed me said I would be constantly developing tests for code...jumped at this opportunity as I have no prior testing experience 3 months into internship and I haven't seen a single line of code I am studying software development and my skills as a developer are not increasing what so ever I feel but since I'm an intern I'm not sure should I ask to move team or stay put for the rest of my internship and put it down as an experience2

Does anybody have any good stories about recruiters or are they all these people that spend all day on LinkedIn viewing profiles and ringing developers about short time positions with little or no description?1
