So I figured out how to see the cat: close one eye, tilt your phone from left to right, and be drunk. Clear as day.

Edit: Maybe try getting a slightly dirty piece of glass and hold it close to you, the image far away from you, then look at some dirt on the glass. Might work, might not.

@irene Opened with Gimp, duplicated the layer, set opacity of the copy to 50%, moved the copy some pixels horizontally.

I also see a cat because I have oneko installed..

One you see it, you cannot I see it. Just look at the screen under low angle.
