My dev team lead is a Flat Earther 🤦🏻‍♀️

    It makes for some interesting conversation.
    And honestly, the whole concept of a world conspiracy is fascinating, but... 🙅🏻‍♀️

    Interesting.
    What lies beyond the array boundries? what value should map return when there is no value?
  • 18
    Lol thats a lie. Earth doesn't exists. Its just a thought, an idea that we created in our minds.

    @radsectors ask him/her if arrays start at 1 or not
  • 4
    @hack I loled 😂
  • 6
    They consumed too much lead
  • 7
    Isnt this something you can disprove by calling someone whatever country on the opposite side from you and ask if it's night during your day there?
  • 8
    @Pyjong they have an explanation for everything. it's actually sickening.
  • 7
    Ask him how does he see gravity

    If he answers it's because of density

    Roast him with the following questions:

    If I put a piece of iron on my hand, why doesn't it go through me.

    If he answers that's because the density of skin is higher than density of the iron.

    Ask him, then why the fuxk does my skin not going through my blood

    @K-ASS the thing with gravity is, it pulls things to the center. So standing near the edge on a flat earth would require you to stand with an angle.

    @olback but they don't believe in gravity, do a spinning ball test they say
  • 5
    @K-ASS wat ! if they don't believe on gravity so why we don't fly?
  • 4
    The earth is flat, really I thought it was square 🤔
  • 3
    How do they explain lunar eclipses?
  • 4
    @cafecortado lunar what?? it's a lie they invented to support their big lie about round Earth ¯\_༼ᴼل͜ᴼ༽_/¯
  • 2
    @radsectors conspiracy is fun until you can disprove it in your back yard.
  • 4
    @Coffe2Code I think there are two theories, either the plane is accelerating upward thug giving gravity, or because density, higher density stuffs just fall through lower density
  • 6
    @K-ASS gravity is because the earth disk is moving through space at 3.7m per second. So when you jump, you leave the earth, then the earth keeps moving to catch up to you... It's almost a halfway decent explanation if you know nothing about physics.

    Real science time!
    - Assuming no gravity, that means that you are also travelling at 3.7m/s just to stay grounded. so jumping means you are moving at that speed already PLUS a little bit more. The earth should never catch you.

    - gravity isn't 3.7m/s it's 3.7m/s^2 or more simply: things accelerate when they fall up to maximum velocity. Things don't just fall at a constant speed.

    Pretty much everything about flat Earth requires every countries space program to all work together to lie. Why would the US, China, Russia, and all of Europe all be on the same side in this? When has that ever happened in anything?

    I love listening to FES people. They don't see how batshit their theories are.

    @deadPix3l *accelerating through space at 9.8 m/s^2 to mimic normal earth gravity
  • 2
    @RememberMe can you say that again in a few more words? I'm afraid I'm confused.
  • 3
    @deadPix3l earth's gravitational acceleration is 9.8 m/s^2, not 3.7. Just a small correction.

    There's no point in science-ing against a flat earther, if they actually cared for science there are very easy ways to verify that the earth isn't actually flat.
  • 3
    @RememberMe oh thank you! I vaguely remembered 3.7 and didn't bother to verify before ranting. Thanks for the correction 😄 But trying to figure out where I remembered that number from, turns out its the gravity of mars! #FlatMarsSociety

    Abort the mission

    They got people all around the globe :}

    @AzraelFTS that's what i hear lol

    Imagine believing in the Earth.
    Tell him to get woke.

    Step away from the computer team lead.
  • 3
    Our PM doesn't believe global warming is true
  • 0
    @drdre yeah mine too. but that goes hand-in-hand with being a flat earther.

    The only reason I might identify with flat earthers is to exemplify the power of belief and maybe to say how its kinda hard for an individual to do big science.
