The new version of the (unofficial) client for Windows 10 mobile is now available! 😁

devRant unofficial (previously devFeed) has been updated to v1.0.0.0 and came out of beta! Over 40 changes since v0.9.10.0 beta.

For those who think that no one uses Windows 10 mobile, the latest version has been downloaded 460+ times! πŸ˜‰

    460 out of 7 billion people. I'd still say no one uses Windows phone.

    @mangs unfortunately devRant doesn't have 7 billion users... for now :P

    This is really cool, I don't have a Windows phone but I used to. The only reason I moved back to android was the lack of apps. The world needs more people like you!

    @JakeHL you can still "convert" android app into windows app. At least on win 8

    Great job!

    Great job using it on my pc & w10 phone which I use to check out developer features (using iPhone) but great app mate fully support third party apps like u :) @dfox

    So 46 people have tried to download and install the app 10 times before Windows Phone could complete the installation (based on experience😬)

    What tech did you use for it? :-)
  • 5
    @yusijs native UWP app written in C# & XAML :P

    @JS96 so can be installed on win10 then to, technically? :p

    @yusijs This version not (I blocked the installs on desktop, because of some glitches I have to fix), but soon I will release an update with desktop support. ;)
  • 2
    Awesome! I was really pleased to find devRant on Windows Mobile :)
  • 1
    thanks man good job! ... and still if you navigate to the devrant website via windows mobile you cannot see the feed and you're redirected to android app... ROTFL
  • 2
    @JS96 I suggest you to make it available also for the other windows 10 devices, at least pc (tablet/2in1) , that's the coolest thing of UWP, one code for all devices and architectures :)

    @dontbeevil Yeah, I'm already working on the responsive UI. I will release an update with support for desktop (& tablets) and hololens soon. πŸ˜‰

    Please let me know if you can download the update. It takes a while to become available worldwide (~16-32 hours from the release). Thanks!

    @azuredivay @dontbeevil @Vake93 @DataWrecker @yusijs
    There are some problems with the Windows Store (bugs)... the v1.0.0.0 "theoretically" is available, but no one can install it...
    MS -.- (I could rant about it)
    Sooo.... I submitted a new update, v1.0.1.0, with desktop and hololens support, and I hope this fix the problem with the store!
  • 1
    @JS96 hey bro I deleted the app on my 640 I can't install it back lol it keeps on saying error
  • 6
    @DataWrecker I know... there is a problem with the store. :(

    All goods man, on a side note great work on the app man us windows peeps appreciate it :)
  • 6
    I'm working with Microsoft to fix this problem. Sorry again for the inconvenience. πŸ˜”
  • 1
    Any clue what it is mate ? @js96
  • 6
    @DataWrecker unfortunately not yet πŸ˜ͺ
  • 2
    Definitely a store bug tho @js96
  • 6
    @DataWrecker Maybe an incorrect association of the app with the store. The package works without any problems outside.
  • 2
    Yea such a same tho.. hope they hurry up and help u fix this :)
  • 1
    still same problem here, looks a store problem :/
  • 1
    @Js96 Microsoft still haven't been able to help u out it looks like
  • 7
    @DataWrecker they submitted the issue to an internal team which started to investigate it to find a fix yesterday, so I think that it will take at least 5-6 days.
  • 1
    @JS96 ah ok sweet hopefully sooner tho ! :)
  • 1
    @JS96 let's keep fingers crossed ... didn't you try to submit a new build?
  • 7
    @dontbeevil I tried 4 times πŸ˜‚
  • 1
    All those who downloaded on their windows phones are like: "I have it on android why not have it on my windows phone too".
  • 2
    @js96 Thank you. Good to see the improvements. Waiting for V2
