@electrineer They will use that seemingly murrican account to scam potential murrican clients.
Or they just do the classic money muling/laundering where he transfer incoming funds to another account. -
We3D26711y@electrineer they will take ur real info and do smth w/ it ( if u fall for d trick ) ;)
or they have some scheme on Upwork we r not aware of... -
This is like the people who were allowing someone to ship items to their house. Then reshipping them somewhere else for a small cut. Pretty sure the items were being purchased with stolen credit cards.

kiki353251yI had people asking for access to my upwork account countless times. They offered money. Capitalism do be like that. You don’t live in a rich white people country? Tough cookies, no upwork opportunity for you. You are free to move to a white country though!

Upwork scammers posting scams on a site that exists to help companies commit h1-b fraud.
Hey! I heard you like scams!
So I put a scam inside your scams, so you can get scammed while you get scammed! -
@Demolishun are you describing drop shipping? it kinda sounds like drop shipping.
For the record I don't even know what drop shipping is.
I just wanted to say it.
Drop shipping.
Rolls right off the tongue.
And off the back of a truck.
Onto your porch. -
@Wisecrack It was a scam a while back. People being paid to reship things. They had no clue they were working for criminals. They had replied to the "make x dollars a month doing nothing adverts". I think this was 15 years ago. I can't remember when I saw this.
-
@Demolishun if someone told me that today, my response would be "i'm not fucking doing onlyfans again."
-
@Demolishun you *whore* you!
I like to tell me pictures of my ass are cryptographically encoded into code now stored on githubs archives in that one artic vault.
It's not true but its a fun story.

Hey! Heard you like scams.
Seriously, what even is this? I heard about this, but didn't think it would happen to me.
Also based on what they want to be doing with another person's computer can also double as a botnet too.
