Am I the only one who thinks recruitment processes are lower quality the more the industry evolves?
I just shocked an interviewer by saying i’m not checking all their boxes from the ad, after being pushed by their hr to take the interview, regardless beeing made sure by HR thats not a problem.
After interview radio silence. i don’t get it...first you headhunt someone, spend 3 weeks in convincing for an on-site and then you can’t even bother sending a “Dude you are not what we look for in the end” mail?
Guess I ask too much from recruiters, did anyone else encountered this?3 -
Once there was this fucking recruiter who actually had the nerve to call the head-secretary of the entire R&D department of the company my girlfriend works at, to ask to be put through to her after explicitly telling the secretary what the reason for the call was.
I mean, even if my girlfriend wanted to be contacted by some shitforbrains single-celled lowlife like you, how stupid can you be, calling the head-secretary for at least 400 people and then telling them you are headhunting?1 -
Head hunting interview:
Q: Are your front end dev?
A: Yup, I'm website's frontend developer.
Q: Are you good at AngularJS?
A: No, I'm not. I only know Reactjs, and Ember.
Q: How about backend, you said you know Rail?
A: Yes, maybe for 3 month experience.
Q: So we need Angular guy, but it seem that you are BAD at Angular. Can you JOIN our next interview?
A: Sorry. I already told you that I don't care about Angular. Isn't it totally different with BAD at Angular? Thank for your consideration. I'm out.
Is there any double standard such as without AngularJS you will be considered that you are terrible at AngularJS?5
