IT dept releases update for Cisco Jabber for work environment and describes it as a minor update.

Me installs new version...
- completely new UI
- loses saved login credentials
- loses connected devices
- loses all settings
- loses history

My definition of "minor" is "slightly" different

At the time i was handling 3 android app , implemented this and called it FacebookStalker , you can select who you wanna stalk and what msg you wanna send them as soon as they come online

Later I realized that it was not the app i was suspended because i used a DRM marked image as icon

Google never tells you the actual reason why your app is suspended so you cannot fix it.

I learned to be mindfull of what i code cause it started having real impact. Loosing dev account was like loosing everything at that point. i had nothing else

Got hooked on some podcasts lately: Arrested DevOps, The PHP Roundtable, and JavaScript Jabber.

My previous company, used -
*Sametime for chats
*Cisco jabber for group chats and video conferencing
*Zoom for meetings
*Slack for community interaction
*And now they onboarded teams..

Hell fuck .. now since I use only teams for all .. I realise what i was doing

Cisco Jabber is a load of shit. I don't really know how to get chat logs with people I haven't added to contacts from the UI. So I just open the SQLite database it saves locally to read. Every single IM entry contains a ton of HTML/CSS to keep formatting. Who writes software like that!
