It's a job description for an entry level Software Developer role at Apple.
Basically they want
- A Front end dev
- A back end dev
- An iOS expert
- A Gimp/photoshop designer
- A streaming data expert
- An Oracle/Teradata expert
- A Kafka expert ( Not shown in the picture)
And on top of that the guy should be able to learn new tech faster.
Do they want a developer or a fucking terminator?5 -
I think the teradata Community Page is taking this whole GDPR thing a step to far.
Informing the User about the use of Cookies and giving him the option to Opt Out is fine for me, but making the Site literally unusable is the wrong way.2 -
Attending Teradata Partners 2016 virtually. The virtual sessions are great, with some very interesting topics, but the virtual coffee and donuts lack substance.

Ha! Our Ops Support DBA Manager just asked (tongue in cheek) "if we are now supporting MS Access, too?" To which of course, the answer is no. Business user who install Access on their desktop and use it for business, get to provide their own support. As their Dev DBA, I'll be more than happy to help them migrate their data to SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata, depending on the Use Case for the data. But, no, we don't support Access. Ever.
