I'm an okay web developer, but my friends wanted a website and a game on it, that was blocked at our school. It was a unity webgl 3d game (which my computer was too slow to run) so I had to download all the external scripts and images (because the school would block the game getting its resources) then reroute all the requests to the local server and now everyone at school was playing the game and they're like, "oh you just copied and pasted the HTML." (They don't know what HTML stands for) They're gonna try to do it today. I wonder what will happen.

boottape1008yRecruiters don't actually care. It's all a numbers game. I wish that side of the industry would die off

wicho25638yI agree but it doesn't hurt to know a little about image handling, design principles, css, etc...

A couple of the agencies I've worked at could do with learning that. Designers design. Developers code. If the job involves coding, you're a developer. Mixing them up only serves to devalue the hard work and effort each discipline has to put into the role.
