Currently balancing my full time job. A Rails bigass project and certain php contracts.

The rails one is unpaid, and I am doing it on my free time since my "payment" would be a portion of the company and a CTO position once it is done. I am building it with one of my best friends and he got the contract from this one dude he has who is loaded and will be selling this to the dptmnt of education of certain country.

The thing is, we all know how it works with those projects. The CEO had contracted this project to some people. He paid them handsomely and as is the case with certain situations the project was abandonded, the devs took the money and ran. So that is why he decided that instead of paying people like he should he would instead try and see if he could get someone interested. He told my friend to get himself an "American developer" since he was fed up with the devs of said country and that is how I am here now.

But the thing is, he is somewhat desperate to see something and even tho I show advancements on a weekly basis I hate the wordings of his group text messages:
"All right guys. I need to see some advancements, show me what you got now"

Motherfucker. You sit your ass and WAIT for me to want to show you something, but don't demand shit like if you are paying me. As far as I know my priorities lie in my current day job or the other people that ARE paying me.

I can't stand my MSI laptop keyboard. The enter key is 2x smaller to make place for a bigass * key, and the > is at the right of space key... Writing HTML makes me want to shoot myself.

What are your keyboard constructors lunacies ?

Is it normal that IT support of a multinational bigass corporate drops the "we may need to change your PC because maybe your network card is defective" after explaining over and over that you have problems with HTTPS only when using the corporate network (whether onsite or via VPN) and not in external connections?

I was about to print a bigass document. Wanted to save paper, and saw my printer had a two side mode. I try it out. A few pages print, then the driver says PAUSED - RELOAD PAPER. This is normal, as double sided printing is not automatic. Underneath, there is a message:

[Printing - Manual Duplex: Please reinsert pap...]

I try to resize the window to read the message.

THE MOTHERFUCKING WINDOW WAS NOT RESIZEABLE!!!

I find a guide saying the paper should be reinserted with no flips, then the "continue" button should be pressed.

The button was not in the driver UI, or on the printer. Further research showed that you are supposed to:

Let's say you are just diplomed and got hired in a small dev company.

Let's say the company is eventually really boring, and it mainly devs with Drupal (see my profile to get my opinion about this CMS).

Let's say you leave, find a bigass society, they accept your desired pay per month, and tell you that, no, there won't be any Drupal in your future work.

Let's say that you come on monday and the first thing people ask you is to check you Drupal level, because you're going to be needed a in future projects.

What would you do?

This happened to someone who joined us this week, the dude who hired him (and no it's not a recruiter (almost sadly)) sweared him that wouldn't use Drupal, and it's been a week and he did only that. Should he just GTFO?

Google pay can respond to reader proximity if it's not running. Who came up with this shit? And why isn't there a bigass warning popup about it when you first add a card. Actually, I know why; if they had to spell it out they'd realize how fucked up this is.
