I've secured my first software developer job at a large bank in the UK after doing Java Developer training for the last 3 months. I'm so happy!

Was on edge..
Had no job, no money, got kicked out by my family(what left of it) depression kicking in, desperately trying to do anything to hold on
Had studies, in automation and robotics and other software skills, but no time to find a company to work..
Decided to try working at burger King, I mean, was that or selling myself, so I got called passed the interview, ( quick info - 60% of young people in my country can't get a job, have to lie on their cv because they have too much skills (there's still that wrong idea that studies get you a job))
Have too much studies for the job, I have to sign a contract saying that I accept being underpaid (by the law I have to be paid under the minimal wage for my skills)
This triggers an alert on social employment center and I started to work for another company two days after as a front end developer and it dude.
Refused the bk, yup they weren't happy about it, but I mean who really wants to do a 1 year trainee flipping burgers...

My first job. Hired as a designer. It was me and a backend dev (PHP). Company wanted us to build their e-commerce website, but the backend dev had no eye for design or front end chops, fell onto me, so I learned it on the spot.

I also did the mistake of trying to prove myself too hard and ended up doing IT, network and user support, user training, phone sales and helping the print team on designs, on top of my already taxing responsibilities, for 18k/year.

In the end, the company moved offices and I was tasked with finding and installing a new server, IP phone system, and organising the desks following a carefully crafted and approved plan. Spent the weekend doing that (had some friends that didn't even work for the company join as they knew of my struggle) only for the bosses to arrive on Monday, decide they didn't like it, and just said "change it", ignoring the plan entirely. I then left without having another job lined up and never looked back.

Finally graduating and starting my first job as Junior PHP developer. Any advice people?

I'm on my last year on my master in computer science. What can I except when I'm done? Give me your wisdom! :) Please don't answer "hell" etc without a explanation haha :) I'm doing a master in AI and distributed system.

So i started my first job on thursday and even though I interviewed for a c# developer position, I'm now a Projectlead Junior. I'm not even mad. It's surprising where life takes you.

How much salary should I expect from company as a fresher in Tech field, like I'm from India and the company I'm currently doing Internship has offered me 4LPA₹ should I take it or search for a better offer ?
