Hey DevRant Fam! , i really hope everyone is doing very well as always! :D <3 I'm currently now learning c# MVC5 which is incredibly new to me and something I've personally never seen and or done, but i love a challenge!.

Now onto something bit more 'somewhat' personal :D, for about 5 years I've been undergoing Immunotherapy Treatment because i suffered from serve chronic eczema and last week was my last ever consultation! I'm incredibly happy to be done with it, another stress lifted off my shoulders :D.

Anyways guys and gals, i really hope everyone is having an amazing day and or night wherever you may be in this world :D

I'd like to make a board game (with cards essentially) with a web technology and take the occasion to learn a new tech.
For now I know pure js, jquery, java servlets, jsp, MVC5 and razor. I would like to learn something lean, new, powerful and useful in a job perspective. Any suggestions?

How do you handle the project you do not much about first week on the job?

I've been following and finished a course about MVC 5. On the deployment side he showed how to deploy the Release on the filesystem through the vs 2017 publish Wizard GUI and after that he suggest to deploy that folder on the IIS server. Now I looked around on the web and I've not found a way\guide on how to self host that project on my PC and expose the project to internet (which I do mostly by using no-ip.org). Someone have any clue or can point to a step by step guide?
