Today I had a dinner with several members of my family. At some point my uncle decided to bring up ‘tech stuff’ so we can talk about it. Nevertheless, few seconds in he was trying to convince me that IE is the best browser, being far superior than firefox, chrome etc.
I just nodded and started talking about how HTML is the language to learn if you want to be a dev 😅😂4 -
That moment when the code that was supposed to be removed in only commented out!!! The guy butchered a bunch of classes by commenting out about 1000 lines of code

So my boss thinks of debugging as a guessing game. As in you just say random things that have not even the slightest relation with the code where the bug is ... now i know why it take days to fix a little bug...5

Did some contract negotiations with the company I work for a couple of months ago, when they offered me a promotion starting next month ... today I got the contract. Only one of the terms we have agreed is in the contract, of course that benefits them. No word about any promotion etc. Wrote to the guy in charge today but no answer so far. Should I just abandon ship or am I just to worried?4

That moment when another dev has no idea what he is talking about but tries to convince you that what he says is the best way to do things.
How did it all ended up here?2 -

Hei guys, i'm new here and i have a big problem with stack overflow...
Why when people ask questions and then you provide an answer their that you know it works and other people apparently know the same since they upvoted my answer... then you have a crappy op who tells you that this can't be the problem. Nevertheless after i have to argue with him for a while to try to solution he then says thanks in the comment and doesn't even approve my answer ... seriously wtf is wrong with some people!!!!3
