When u want to close a tab(cmd +w) but pressed cmd + Q

Client writes me in slack two hours after my 8 hours are done:

“We have a bug, can you fix it now? We need to have it in two days”

Me, smoking pressing cmd+q, closing laptop , listening fools gold by the stone roses, curtains down

I need a new 'main' language to do all my projects in as java is kind of grinding away at my psyche.

Golang I liked quite a lot when I used it for my job a year ago, I'll give that a try..

Oh, I know lets see if there are GLFW bindings for golang. And sure there are lets go!

Oh I need gcc and mingwex + mingw32 which I will acquire through cygwin.

hmm.. mingwex + mingw32 not found and my drive is almost full. I'll reinstall on my D:\ drive before continuing troubleshooting.

At this point it would be more efficient to manually open up my ssd, and using a fridge magnet change every single bit to be exactly what I want it to be.

Or install linux.

When on Chrome with multiple tabs: cmd+q and cmd+w are too damn close.

Using a mac from time to time:

1) Open browser
2) Open Gmail website
3) Insert email address
4) Press CMD+Q to write @
5) FUCK!!!

accidentally quit chrome instead of closing one tab because of the shortcut is very close (cmd+Q and cmd+W)

found cmd+shift+T shortcut to restore tabs

feels saved

chrome restore all tabs

chrome stopped working

chrome quits unexpectedly

I just fucking hate my fat fingers, every once in a while I'm trying to hit CMD + TAB and I end up with my finger in the Q.

FFS.

It hurts the most when what you close is your terminal that had 20 sessions up.

Quite sure, that there's a special place in hell waiting for the guy, who made the cmd+Q comb so close to the alt+Q (@) on the mac layout.
