Made the server run slow to test a bug that only happens when this happens. Now I have to wait 10 minutes everytime I need to republish some change.

Other teams in my company are working with Angular 4 and NodeJS and my team is here working with JSF and Java 1.5.8

This morning I couldn't delete any of my projects and my workspace kept refreshing. I was going mad about it. Then I looked at my keyboard and realized I was clicking F5 instead of Delete. I'm going to get a coffee. Be right back.3

So my boss moved me to build some software to IoT devices we have because he didn't have the time to do it. But I haven't used C since college (I mostly use Java), but I'm trying to handle it. But right now we are developing a feature that is taking longer than expected and he comes over and tells me how easy it is to do it. Really? You were trying to do it that way for a shit ton of time and it didn't work, do you really expect it to work because it's me? Fucking hell!

Why do my brain just stops working on technical interviews? I say the most random crap as an answer even though I know the fucking right one. Well this way I'm not getting a job anytime soon.2
-
"We always give feedback whether it's positive or negative usually within a week." said the guy who interviewed me 3 weeks ago.
Is it so hard to send me a simple fucking e-mail?1 -
I've been waiting for almost 45 minutes for a Skype interview that was scheduled for 1pm. Come on. What impression do I keep from this company? At least have the fucking decency of saying something after I've sent you a message.
There goes my lunch hour.2 -
I'm working in a really really small start up company (I'm the only developer here with the owner being a programming professor in the local uni).
It's my first job after leaving uni and I knew it was a risky decision that I've made but it was my hometown and I could save some extra money by saving on rent and food, also I've always loved a good challenge.
But the challenge isn't working as excepted. It's been a year since I've started here and there was no planning for almost nothing, it's a "do as you think it's best but I'll probably won't like so you have to it again" kind of methodology. Also I've been hire to do an hybrid mobile app and I've ended up doing a full e-commerce website with shitty outdated technology that I've had no experience in using.
So for me I'm more than done. I'm tired of having my suggestions being completely ignored, of the lack of planning and instruction and the fact that I'm being underpaid for what I do.
Fuck it, I'm looking for a new job.3 -
I'm building an app with Cordova and everything was working great, tested on multiple devices and everything worked perfectly. Until my boss called me to say that some interfaces don't work on his phone. Needless to say Android 4.3 doesn't like the "new" syntax of flex and just tells me that I can fuck off. Well Android fuck off too.2

My boss has a weird habit of asking my opinion and then proceed to choose the worst option. So one day he asked what Java for Web framework we should use I said we should use Spring, we are currently using JSF. Then he asked what version control we should use I said git. Guess what, he decided to use SVN. Next time I'm going to say the worst option maybe that will make him choose the better one.2

My boss uses Firefox in a regular basis until he decides that Internet Explorer is the perfect browser to test our recently built e-commerce website.4

I'm alone in the office today and already done a lot of work. How can I be so much more productive when nobody is around.10
-
I'm pretty sure that I have some guys inside my computer that sometimes fix bugs or break builds overnight without me even touching the code.1
-
Spent the entire day trying to solve a bug yesterday. Came to work today, solved in 5 minutes.
This is why I love and hate my job.1 -
The Internet went out at the office while searching for an error. Looks like I'll be stuck until it comes back again.

Today a recruiter answered an e-mail I sent 6 months ago when I was looking for a job. Should I answer back in 6 months saying I'm not interested?8

Boss told me he wants our website done in JSF. Since I came from PHP and this is a really different environment but Java is here to stay. Should I convince him to move to Spring at least? Is it any easier?4
