When you've been testing and debugging for an hour frustrated and furious and then found out that you've been editing a different file the whole time. 😥5

Isn't it funny that an app whose literal express purpose is to whine an complain has turned out to be one of the nicest around?3

Embarrassment: when you ask a new hire to refactor some poorly written code, and he runs 'git blame' to find out that you were the OC. Cummon, that was more than an year back!

A man flying in a hot air balloon suddenly realizes he’s lost. He reduces height and spots a man down below. He lowers the balloon further and shouts to get directions, "Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?"
The man below says: "Yes, you're in a hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field."
"You must work in Information Technology," says the balloonist.
"I do" replies the man. "How did you know?"
"Well," says the balloonist, "everything you have told me is technically correct, but it's of no use to anyone."
The man below replies, "You must work in management."
"I do" replies the balloonist, "But how'd you know?"
"Well", says the man, "you don’t know where you are, or where you’re going, you expect me to be able to help. You’re in the same position you were before we met, but now it’s my fault."5 -
Show up for job interview 15 minutes early. Interviewer is over an hour late. I left. Doesn't even apologize the same day. Instead, he e-mails me the next day pleading for another chance. I didn't respond.1

we are working for a client who wants an app compatible for both iOS and android. He asked us to send both the "apk" and "ipk" files together😂1

on my first job interview(7 years ago when Android wasn't populer yet) the recruiter was like "so, you know Android?" and I was like "yeah I got 3 months of experience" so he just told me immediately "great, when can you start"
that was the shortest interview in my life so far.3 -
I was working for a company as a Mobile Developer and I had a recruiter calling me up, asking me if I'd be interested in working for the company I was already as a "UX Designer". I thought it'd be funny to say yes. It wasn't - I was let go because my company thought I was looking elsewhere.7

I think one difficult thing about being a developer is having all your business friends tell you they have this idea that would make millions but you have to build a prototype (for free) for them to pitch. They don't seem to understand that this is a full time job.12
