Relationships and gaming on Linux have a lot in common. When it works, it's glorious, though it has its quirks. When it doesn't... You let it drive you mad until you decide that the compatibility issues just aren't worth the effort anymore.

The thing about bats

A very dear friend decided to teach his kids programming. He has six kids but he is only teaching 3 at the moment cause the other 3 are still too young. While I choose to start off my daughter with JavaScript he choose to start off his kids with C. His reasoning is its better to learn at that level to fully understand what is actually going on. And I find myself agreeing with him.

That disappointing moment when you realize that what you thought was a mobile app is just a web view

Our company got attacked last month by what i believe was a code time bomb from a ex employee. And it was brutal, website hacked, email server not responding, locked out from database servers. The IT department asked for my help and I was more than happy to do it. Long story short I got every thing back working smoothly. The IT guys ask for a favor to not include this in my monthly progress report. Fine by me. But then they went out and tokd the top management that they are teaching me about the networks and servers so thats why I was working with them last month. Fucking assholes. Not going to help them any more.

Today I saw a stupid kid at a hardware Facebook group saying that the Core i7 is for laptop and the Core i5 is for desktop...and the worst part is that he thinks he's right. OMG what this kids have in their heads this days...

Today I was asked as a favor by one of our vendors to assist one of their other customers with an API integration issue. We work very closely with this vendor and help beta their products etc.

I'm helping as a favor. And this guy could not be more of a dick. Constantly throwing his 20ys of experience at me and saying the API is broken. A good portion of my job is API integration so I've seen 30+ platforms all done differently and this one in question is by far the simplest.

Where does this chodemuffin get off being a dick to me? You know what buddy. Eat a dick. Figure it out yourself.
