    You forgot the system architect, who has to figure out how to make a baby with 3 hair colors, two skin tones, three mothers, and airplane wings in the next 4 months.

    I think a better one for a client is (s)he puts a diaper on the baby's head and then complains about the shoddy development and demands a refund when they get peed on.

    I think that developers always assume something will take longer than usual to complete because they've been doing it for long enough to know that something always goes wrong.
