Is it though? On my previous provider my mobile internet was like 200Mbps down, in the UK.

I got this right now (France) and yes, it's way better than what I got at home

@awnumar My fibre optic speed is ~25Mbps down; my mobile (4G) speed is ~35Mbps

I've never had 200Mbps down - got up to 40 at university in York, and 80 when I was on placement in Cambridge

Whereabouts in the UK are you getting 200? Centre of a large city?

@Ezard Used to average 150-200 when I was up north, Leeds area. Down here in Bristol it was around 100 Mbps.

I think it's slower in the middle of big cities because it's more congested.

@awnumar On the other hand, if you're not in a densely populated area, then service providers just ignore you - I'm 10-15 miles outside Liverpool, and only got fibre optic last year (and even then, it's not exactly fast lol)
