I THOUGHT I JUST DAMAGED MY PHONE SCREEN LIKE AN IDIOT.

I haven't slept for 3 days, so I'm kind of out of it.

I was using my phone for a few hours non-stop, because if my mom sees me on my laptop she might take it away lol.

I had to edit my manuscript, so I didn't put my phome down, and it's really hot in my house for some reason even though it's cold outside (63°f).

So my phone overheated, and being the sleep deprived idiot I was, I realized how squishy it felt when I kept pressing my screen down. For some reason it felt good to push on it.

I know, I'm stupid. I kept pressing down until I snapped out of the trance, and realized what I was doing, so I stopped. Then I saw these distinct patches on my screen. Like when there's water in your phone, and you see these roundish splotches. Also, I couldn't move the screen.

I panicked because I thought I ruined the screen, so I turned it off. I kept it face down on my table, and read a book for an hour.

When I turned it back on, the patches were gone. I guess they were present because my phone overheated or something.

Still, that was kind of scary. I thought I ruined it.

Me: Zorin OS. I really like it. I'm even considering deleting my windows partition.

Mutual: Really? That doesn't count as a proper distro. Real Linux users only use Zorin on a virtual machine. Use Mint or Kali or something.

Me: It counts. It's not different from any other distro.

Mutual: It's okay to be noob. You can always ask me for advice.

Me: But I've been using Linux for about two years. I don't consider myself a noob.

Mutual: If you're using a shitty distro, then you're a noob.

Me: Okay. Thanks for the advice. (In my mind: fuck off already.)

I don't understand the issue with Zorin OS. Is it because it looks like windows or something? :/

He forgot his Roblox password and told me to do something. I said I can't do anything about it. Then he yelled at the top of his lungs saying, "you don't know technology! You're too stupid and selfish. Fix it!"

I said I can't do anything about it. He throws the mouse at me and says, "I never get to have fun. You ruin my life!"

He's not a little kid btw. He's fucking 14.

Today my mom forgot to pay the wifi password, and she thinks its better not to pay it today so it can stop my brother from playing games. (He plays it from morning to night. No homework, no cleaning, no nothing. Just games all day.)

So he told me to fix it. I said I cant. There's nothing I can do. Then he punches my arm really hard. (He's taller and stronger than me so it really hurt) then he threw a shoe and said, "you're useless and stupid! You have your laptop so you can have fun but I never get to have fun. You ruin my life, and I hate you. I hate my life."

Then he ran to mess up my room by tossing things from the self, removing clothes from my closet, and messed up my bed. He pushed my sister, pulled my hair, and ran to his room, slamming the door.

Please. Please someone give him a brain! He desperately needs one. I said I can't fix it, and that my mom has to pay the WiFi bill, but he thinks I'm being mean.

He has the mind of a 5 year old. Dropping to the ground crying.

There's crows everywhere! I literally mean everywhere! I live in a culdesac and they are all over the streets and cawing in everywhere it is really scary.

This is the best picture I have of them, but majority are in the camera's blindspot, like behind.

I've never seen anything like this and the caws are really loud.

10 minutes ago my phone was at 20%.

I stopped working on it, and plugged in the charger. I read a book for no longer than 10 minutes, and checked to see how much charge it has.

It was at 52% holy shit.

Programming as much as I can now because I've been behind on my school stuff so for the rest of the month no programming until I catch up and go ahead.

I can't wait till college so I can learn whatever I want.

My birthday is coming up on the 13th so I'll be 17 soon, but it's a shame. I like being 16...

Anyway... I'm going to spend the entire day working on my python script because I know no one will come.

For 5-6 years no one came to my birthday even though they said they would.

It's fine. I stopped caring, besides, I get to spend the day with variables and loops! It'll be a fun day, not to mention I'll be home alone so no one will bother me.

Useless but interesting fact: I got lucky. I was born ONE MINUTE before Valentine's day. At 11:59 I would be so upset if I was born on the 14th.

If you had to use one laptop for programming on a daily basis and nothing else, which one would you choose? And I'm talking about to work and back home, and you can't use another monitor either.

The GPD pocket windows or the Acer Predator?

Obviously I'm not getting any of those. I'm just curious.

Someone as scrawny as me probably won't be able to carry the Acer Predator, and it discriminates against lefties. The pocket windows is too small for anything, but it is adorable.

Today I found out my math teacher used to program in C++

I'm finally not the only programmer in school.

But she said her skills are outdated since that was a long time ago, but it's better than nothing! :D

We have alot in common. We're both bookworms, we both like to write, we're both Ravenclaw, we're both Erudite, and we both like to program.

I can safely say, I no longer despise my math teacher. I don't hate her, but I get annoyed how she's always absent right before a test.

Hopefully I can have a programming related conversation with her, assuming she didn't forget anything.

Someone hacked into a teacher's school district email, sending random stuff to the juniors.

When the principal sent an email saying any help in catching the perpetrator would be appreciated, a bunch of people from my classes were staring at me throughout the day.

That was weird.

I was typing a question on DuckDuckGo and it redirected me to a similar question on Stack Overflow.

It didn't show any search results, it literally just took me to a solution on Stack Overflow.

That was interesting, but it never did that before so it caught me off guard.

Today my classmate came up to me and said he was a hacker.

I told him to prove it, and guess what? HE ACTUALLY HACKED GOOGLE!

It was amazing! He impressed so many kids in the class with his skills of pressing F12! How impressive is that?

He even wore a black hoodie and can spell his name in binary code. Not to mention, he changed google doc's page color to black and the font to green as he typed his essay.

I need to be careful... This 1337 h4x0r is really scary.
