Java: String foo =“bar”;
C#: var foo = “bar”;
Go: var foo string = “bar”
I just started learning Go and I’ve been cringing since.19 -
First time committing a ticket is scary… I can’t stop thinking how my colleagues and tech lead gonna look at my code and question me if I lied on my resume…3

I'm a first year MSCS student, and working in a startup as a part-time engineer. The founder insisted to mark me as a "Senior Engineer" since I was leading a team of 3 student programmers. Deep in my heart I knew I'm at least 4 years away from competent enough to own this title... Today, I got an invitation from a well known company asking me to join their new team as a Senior SDE II, and I suspect this is the reason. I don't know what to do right now... Frankly I only want to ask the HR if he’d consider adding me as an intern instead LOL. I have no working experience in large professional companies before, and I think I will embarasse myself if they interview me about my experience as a "Senior Engineer" which in fact I was merely a Junior dev...7

Nothing is worse than doing all the hard work and thoughts, while people just think you’re over exaggerating the problem...3

I'm graduating soon from a college, and tbh I only had internships in web development. I really want to land a job when graduate next summer... But it doesn't seem I match any of the job descriptions, the skills the companies want. I don't know what's the next step, should I find a low skill cap job and teach myself the languages in the part-time? what did you do to land a software engineer job when you first graduated?3

I've been working as a web dev intern for my college's IT department for about three weeks now. Knowing that I have the access to the cms, file server and database... Muhahahahahahahahahaha😈 but I guess I will be a good boy and only screw around in my test environment.

Just want to rant about my current struggle and look for some advice.
I was never encouraged to explore and cultivate my interests in my life before college, and my family kept pressuring me to achieve academic excellence in the past.
Only until I got into my current liberal art college last year, I was able to do what I like: Art and programming.
Everything was moving forward smoothly so far, but when I started to apply for internship, I found myself in a very awkward situation: companies who offer interns prefer students who're concentrated in cs or art, but not both. And as you might guess, they require personal projects which I barely have time to do besides my school work.
Sometimes I wonder if studying in liberal art college is a good idea... I can't imagine myself competing with CS guys from universities...Or art students from design schools like RISD.
I really like both fields, yet Im still struggling with my future career decisions.1 -

wk89 the first game I played was a fighter plane simulation game. 3D, very realistic at that time. Maybe around 2006. I just don't know the name of the game since I was a kid. The aircraft might be F-22. Anyone knows the name of the game?4

Tried to make my qr code look fancy, and it didn't turn out well. My guess is the main part of the qr code must be darker than the complementary part?

The most awkward moment today, was to have the dinner with my friend‘s friends who I met multiple times but who weren't interested in talking with me at all...

Writing an assembler for my final.
"OK, good, now I just need to make the program write the output file. That shouldn't be hard."
*5days later*
