Angry Client: All the data from this account is missing. I can't work like this with the app loosing data.

Me: Checks logs, see that client pressed the reset all data button and after that the confirmation button.

Me: As polite as possible informing the client what he did.

It's sad that it has come to the point where you need logs on pressing buttons because they try to blame everything on the app.

Whenever I see a programmer or hacker coding in a movie, I pause the movie and see if I can understand what the code is trying to do. If I can't understand it, I feel sad the rest of the day thinking I'm not a good enough programmer.

Last year I was nominated for a reward by some tech internship 'charity' who helped me get my university placement.

It was about having made the most contribution and personal progress. I spent the whole year working solo projects and building small web applications and websites for customers having never written a line of even html before I started.

The girl that won did so because she wrote a couple python scripts to query mysql databases and put it on a table and spent an entire year learning how to do this. Confusingly the judges also told me that programming wouldn't be too hard because it's just copy pasting anyway.

If this rant gets 4,294,967,296 likes, it might cause an integer overflow.

I never believed in such posts until I saw this today.....

I fucking love my SD card reader driver fucking up my whole system. How did that driver even pass BayHub's fucking QA, causing a bluescreen of death right during reboot of Windows? Anyways thanks Microsoft for that nice new bluescreen not telling me anything about the fucking problem why Windows just crashed. But at least it looks nice, so that it's more fun working all night and half a day to find the fucking problem myself. Fuck this.

Got a note saying that the raspberry pi, a colleague sent to me, has arrived. I immediately went to the post but the person responsible for the packages just walked by me saw I was ending and just looked at me while sipping from his coffee and walking away. Without saying a darn thing. And I was on time 20 minutes before they are supposed to close 😒😑

University switched to Office 365. Just realized they implemented "Focused" inbox mode that auto filters messages microsoft deems less important. It filtered 3 important emails from last week. Just give us back the ability to make our own rules and filters again!!
