Screenshot and pocket are already included with Firefox and work great. Chrome needs extensions for those though. I used to have disconnect and ghostry in past.

Holy shit, wrote bitwarden an email and I shit you not, 15 seconds later I got a reply answering my question, not via bot but an actual human, then answered that email with a much more detailled question and got an answer yet again 25 seconds later, insane. 😶

Decided to try keepass again and the combination of it all nowadays is just (nearly) perfect:

- Keepass2
- KeepassXC Browser extension (the only reason for "nearly" since NatMsg tries to emulate keepassxc but sometimes fails)
- KeePassNatMsg
- Syncthing
- Keepass2Android

There's tons of more things to discover still, but that already gave me a much easier (especially backups wise) and plugin setup than what I had before with bitwarden!

Syncthing also _just works_ (not like it used to be) which makes me all the time question what's wrong with it haha

Deleted my Lastpass account. Moved to self hosted BitWarden.

I managed to remember some old Bitwarden (password manager service, I remember that linuxxx recommended me this one a looong time ago) credentials, so I logged in. I found an old devRant account - not my first though (I deleted it).

I've been a random lurker all this time (this is the first dev community I've been and I'm not planning to leave it until it dies), and it's good to login just to give my 2 cents.

I love you all. Seriously. I love you all with every single bit of my heart (get it?), impartially. Thanks for existing.

Digging its own grave

Ok, I need to vent a little bit about myself. Just got back from my 2 weeks vacations. Met with everyone, caught up on everything that has happened, booted my lap top and tried to ssh into the servers to see log files if anything out of the ordinary has happened.

Well, I was having "Permission denied (publickey)." . Well fuck. Tried on other servers and same thing.

I got panicked, thinking how the fuck did we get hacked? The ssh key is only on my laptop, and an encrypted backup exists only in Bitwarden account. If yes, why are the systems intact and working well? Kept scratching my head for hours. Well, I was trying to log in with user "root" instead of "admin". I always mistake these two names. Rusty brain ._.

What do you guys think of Bitwarden? Is it really secure?

So until now I ran bitwarden official docker image on my server but as I forgot to create snapshot before updating yesterday and the whole network got fucked up :D I installed bitwarden-rs (Rust implementation) instead... Aaand it is sooooo good! It takes only around 20MB of RAM instead of 1GB+ and it is just lightning fast. Also replaced Apache with nginx for the first time and I love it so far.
