Be me, get a consultant job, go to a supposedly great client that has fame of getting scouted by Google. (attn: I doubted all this shit before I started)
Learn the basics by a awesome mentor and trial/error stuff at the same time to get the hang of things, after that was done, I noticed there was no documentation whatsoever, code is spaghetti and your documentation, good luck!
Royal spaghetti, you can't make heads or tails of it, dev code in production, empty try/catch blocks, empty statements, if (true)... (incl. their core classes)
Keep in mind this is a multi milion dollar company...

Merry Grav-Mass!
So I saw many „Merry Christmas“ posts here lately.
But many of you may have forgotten that 25th of December is the birthday of the greatest physician and mathematician of all time — Isaac Newton! So let's celebrate the existence of comprehensible physical laws!
One way to celebrate Grav-Mass is to decorate a tree with apples and other fruits. Glue them or attach them, but not too well! The idea is that occasionally a fruit should fall. Put them on the tree no more than 2 feet up, so that they won't get damaged or hurt anybody when they fall. Investigating and perfecting the methods for doing this is a great way expose a child to the process of scientifically studying the behavior of the physical world.

OWL SHORTCODES DOES NOTHING, LIGHTSLIDER DOCUMENTATION IS THE VAGUEST THING EVER AND THEIR NON-MODULAR EXAMPLE DOESN'T WORK, AND THERE AREN'T GOOD ALTERNATIVES.
... I ended up installing Bootstrap on the site just to get the slideshows working. It looks like shit and is bloating my page so I'M EITHER FIXING THOSE PLUGINS OR SWITCHING BACK TO WORDPRESS. IT MIGHT BE HORRIBLE BUT AT LEAST IT'S FRIENDLY AND THE COMMUNITY DOESN'T IGNORE ME ON THE SLACK CHANNEL2 -
