I'M A BEGINNER AND I JUST WANT TO CODE, NOT WASTE FUCKING 5 HOURS TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY SPYDER WOULDNT FUCKING INSTALL ON AN ENVIRONMENT IN ANACONDA. FUCK.

WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN EVERY TIME I TRY TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW. EVERY TIME SOMETHING HAS TO FUCKING BREAK.

I have a confession. I have always used IDLE because I love it. It's slow, lacks a number of features, and is just all-around outdated.

So today I went and I got rid of it. I tried PyCharm in the past but it was too complicated for Python. I like JetBrain's IDE for Java, but not for Python. Instead, this time, I opted for Spyder. I tend to get quite excited about new IDEs, and I do like this one a fair bit. The editor offers a dark theme but the UI surrounding it does not. This is offensive, but acceptable, for the time being. Here's a screenshot. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good python debugger that allows jumping to statements, etc.?

Today I made two pleasant discovers:
* Spyder, an easy and efficient IDE for newby in Python;
* openpyxl, great library to export crunched data in excel for my colleagues.

While using Spyder the python kernel died(not that rare), so I restarted the kernel and... It kept dying over and over and over again.
So I restart the IDE... can't even connect to the kernel anymore.

Comodo internet security was blocking stuff.
Ffs, I had given up and I was ready to reinstall the whole damn environment if not Anaconda.
I still love Comodo.

I was trying to run an algorithm since yesterday as QT was throwing error. But I tried it on Spyder and I don't know how but it just ran smoothly.
I don't care why it was not running, it ran and I am too happy.

Am a developer am never coming to work a weekend. My dog will be sick if I have been sick for the last 12 weeks.
