IT'S TWO THOUSANDS FUCKING NINETEEN VERSION AND YES VISUAL STUDIO IS STILL FREEZING WHEN COPYING AND PASTING A SIMPLE FUCKING TEXT FILE INSIDE THE SOLUTION14
Best and worse IDE feature for you.
IDE : VS2019
Best : Conditional break points (cf image)
Worst : Git branches management (For example : can’t delete multiple branches at the same time)14
There an ambiguity between VS2019 and VS2022
VS2019 simply works, and VS2022 is slow and full of bugs and MS keep telling they don't see the problem.
So I did nothing to this file, except adding one more test method and all of a sudden when code was broken elsewhere VS started to hard complain, fixed elsewhere compilation, but stuck with this1
Hey, VS2019 thanks suddenly stopping to notify me and just loading external changes without telling me. It's not like I needed the changes I just fucking typed or anything.1
VS2022 is an abomination......
I was forced to put the whole team on 2019 ansd remove all .net 6....
VS2022 is NOT USABLE AT ALL !
It's like vs2010 which we all skipped.
I'll wait for VS 2024 at this point...
can't work. "Changed a file" ? Oh wait i'll just recompile whole solution for 3 minmutes at EACH FUCKING FILE CHANGE.
VS2019 9Same project) : 0.2 seconds.8
I've got to make hololens gallery in Unity as a test for a new job. I've spent half of yesterday trying to make it work. I managed to build the scene, but failed at making it work in emulator. I'm trying to run it using VS2019, but project needs Windows Mobile SDK. I think I've installed everything I could find and could have been installed. I tried removing this manually and launching but obviously it didn't work.
Has anyone played with Hololens?5
Does anyone know where can I enable the visual studio 2019 codelens on Mac M1? #codelens #vs2019 #macbookm14
Whenever I see example code produced or shown by Microsoft, it either
1) looks like some WinForms anno 2009 shit, or
2) a horrible implementation of obfuscated code jizz.
I upgraded from VS 2017 to VS 2019 and I am quite impressed with the UI it is so less cramped and clustered than the older versions. Overall just has been a better experience minus some questionable build&compile&run times. But I am glad I upgraded now3
