So, second day at work...

I was up at 5:45. Made it here by 7:35, and will probably be leaving at 17:00.

I honestly hate my job (and I've only been here for 2 days), I hate, absolutely HATE having to spend one and a half to two hours in my car each day.

It feels like I've been job hunting for the past 9 months - one of the reasons for leaving was to fight through traffic each day... and I still somehow seemed to have drawn the short straw.

I am slowly but surely losing my passion for being a developer. Something I thought would never happen. I love what I do - or so I thought. But at the moment...

My co-worker told me that he doesn't use class mutators because it just makes the class long and dirty. Should I be afraid?

I sit in a cubicle and I update bank software for the 2000 switch. You see, they wrote all this bank software and to save space, they put 98 instead of 1998. So I go through these thousands of lines of code and uh, it doesn't really matter. I, uh, I don't like my job. I don't think I'm gonna go anymore.

When I cant find an answer to my problem on stackoverflow:
I either made a extremely stupid but unrelated mistake, did the whole thing completely wrong from the start, or was using the wrong framework/library everyone avoids or hates ...

Google has ruined my ability to retain information! I spent a few hours today failing to get my head around a problem, only to find I provided an answer to that very same problem several years ago on stackoverflow.
