“Only Internet Explorer supports exporting data from QuickBooks”

Created a script to replace the contents of a file each morning before the users get into the office. This file is a QuickBooks .Nd network file that for some reason gets written with a bad config causing it to break QuickBooks on the network for the whole firm...

QuickBooks had no comment, and after weeks of trying to find out why it's doing it. I just created that script to replace it with the good config.

I have spent the last 2 days on the phone trying to get support for certain issues...

It is universal that all support lines are complete garbage. Shitholes for stupid people to get paycheques.

I have noticed that this task has actually had a negative impact on the emotional state and it upsets me further that I have allowed this.

I am getting a virtual assistant to handle this because frankly, my time is too valuable to be consistently wasted by stupid people delivering no results.

I am literally listening to someone who is reading the god damn support page (and reading it at what seems to be a 3rd-grade level) GREAT!!!!

I've been tasked with adding QuickBooks online to a cloud solution we have. Being the newest dev here I did what any self respecting dev would do. Spent all day on stack overflow and Google 😂

Fuck today is just one of those fucking days. I'm THE junior and I'm just hitting a fucking wall with my task.

It's like I have Legos, I know how to build basic shapes and cars and planes, but I can't make the connection in my head to build more advanced things like a space shuttle.
