Relationship Status: just tried to reach for my dog's paw and he pulled it away so I pretended I was reaching for the remote.2

Woman couldn't reach the login page of her hosting account.
After 15 minutes of debugging she found out that her Internet wasn't turned on.
This shit is the fucking reason why I drink alcohol.19 -
Had this a few weeks ago. A customer send an email telling that her emails didn't load anymore in the web interface.
Fair enough, tested it and indeed, no emails while there were definitely emails on the server and nothing in the logs or anything.
Replied saying that I'd look into it.
Few hours later she messaged back all happy about it working again and thanking me so much for all the effort I put into getting it to work again!
My thought at that moment: "oh shit completely forgot about that ticket... Wait it's working again? Oo I didn't do anything... 😅"
Love it how some things just solve themselves haha5 -
Came home late last night and told my wife I'm skipping dinner to take a 1hr nap as it's going to be a long night of bug fixing and testing. Woke up, my wife and 1yr old son are already asleep. Saw the pic below posted on the wall above my work area at home. She's a teacher, she's never heard me mention it, and I don't use this method (I prefer music on my headphones). But she does know I lurk devrant so she must've browsed here while I was napping. Feels good. Code fixed, checked-in, unit tested and released for user testing.6

By working from home, in my morning robe, jacked up on lethal doses of caffeine, blasting the latest glass cloud album.

You can really tell a lot about a coder from their build log. Especially the actual compile error reasons.
Yes, I'm talking about you who duct-tapes solutions for others to clean your mess up later when your hack falls apart , you dirty ba****d!
