I reversed engineered the network protocol for a game.
I uploaded the source code to GitHub and made a post on UC Forums.

I kept getting bombarded with messages from the same person, it went something like this:

Him: "I can't get this hack to work, pls send finish hack, thanks"
Me: "First of all this is not a complete hack. You actually need to know how to code to use this library."
Guy: "Ok, can u help me make hack for game?"
To keep this short, I basically told him:
"No. Look through the code, learn it, use what you learned."

Couple of hours later he replied:
"Ok. I look through code but don't know how work. Send me code pls."
From the kindness of my heart I made a extremely simplified wrapper for the already simple code and sent him the project files.

He replies with: "Thank for hack, I not able make it work. I build I try inject game but no work. How to run dll file."

At that point I gave up...

Been sick since Wednesday with a heavy feeling of dizziness and vertigo (BPPV). Basically I got sick in the week I intentionally planned nothing to tackle my workload and get some stuff done, but I was physically unable to work on it until now.

One of the most hated things by me in my entire Internet using experience is guys who comment on blogs and forums saying "Pls send me help/full code for this: my email is X and my number is Y"

Grow up guys. The admin is not your slave to send you personal help on an email.

I think I've reached peak boredom, can't work on my main project so I'm sitting here going through nano's C source code and planning to port it into C#...

Just opened a project that I'll be working on for work, first thing I notice is C++ like code formatting, which hurts my eyes (keep in mind this is Java)

But then decompiled Hybris classes came at me with not only that, but three newlines between methods.

I fear what I have yet to see...

Genuine question: Whenever an OS encounters a problem and I 'send' the report to help fix the problem, does anybody read that? Or windows just stalling?

I was typing a rant about this deadlines of a legacy project I have to work on but I'm just too tired/stressed/angry todo so... Maybe in a week or two when the fucker is finally done...

I was thinking about switching to Dvorak but then I learned that there are no significant study that it really does improve typing speeds. I don't feel like switching for something with so little gain and I return people will look at me like i'm hermit hipster. I mean they're doing that already. I don't have friends. Pls send help

I have a coding block. I blame school. I'm on break for 2 weeks. The first week just finished. I try to work on my personal projects and I just lose interest. I have the motivation and stuff but when I try to work on them, the feeling just goes away.

Forgot to download maven last night and run it so it'd grab its deps...

On uni wifi now, it's been at least 100 mins and it's not even done downloading them 😭 I need my unit tests ffs, how is it that a uni like this has download speeds of a couple kb/s

To be fair, I'm sharing my phones wifi over Bluetooth, because I forgot my cable at home. So it's kinda my fault 😂 uni wifi is 👌
