Colleague: Dude did you see the Typos you made? Fix them!
Me: In my defence, I wrote this at 4am in the morning, did not sleep for 2 days.
Colleague: Don't Care, fix it.
Me: *Creates Hotfix Branch from Master*
* INSTALLS DEPENDANCIES AND FINDS OUT A NEW VERSION IS OUT AND UPDATES THAT AS WELL *
* Runs Project and finds out it's not the hosted version. *
* Merges Deployed Brunch to Hotfix Brunch and this happens *

WHY IS THIS ERROR SO UNAVOIDABLE? Like every time I need to interact with an API, it's a struggle to make this go away.2 -

Is there any modals for angular 2?? The ng2-bs4-modal gives unexpected token error. I swear after this project I am never using angular. Worst framework ever.

Does anyone know how to solve the 'Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <' error? It's on the first line <!DOCTYPE html>, I've even tried deleting that line, but got the same error on <html>.
I've been looking for answers for a while now, and nothing works for me! I know as soon as I post this, I'll get the answer immediately tho.
All the other pages work fine, with no errors and no warnings, all the js/css/whatever files are called in the same file which is shared by all the pages (app.blade.php).
The only 404 errors I'm getting are from the images, but I've tried deleting the img paths and still get the same error. I'm also getting 404 on the images on app.blade.php but those are working fine on the other pages, so I don't think that's it.
The controller was basically copy/paste from another project. I've tried dd($product) and looks fine.
Long story, short: everything looks fine and I'm going crazy. Anyone know what it could be?12 -

Looking at jest errors and loads of GitHub and StackOverflow issues, it's no surprise that people claim they don't like testing.
Maybe they would if we got our tooling right.

Nah, that's an unexpected token, jest does not like this syntax.
Using require, like in jest's getting started tutorial isn't compatible with my existing JS libraries exports.
Adding type: "module" in package.json just makes another error message appear instead.
Fucking developer experience!
Why bother with unit tests at all?
How come PHP is 10 years superior to JS when it comes to code quality, unit tests, and static code analysis?
I don't even care about "ES modules". I don't want to "mock" anything either. All I want to do is import a handful of JavaScript functions into another file.

So I'm writing my compiler and I decide to test error handling, see if I'm catching unexpected tokens and whatnot. I try duplicating a semi-colon at the end of a line, for sure it'll give me an error since that's an unexpected token, isn't it? So I run the compiler and... No errors? I start debugging for a few minutes, snoop around, everything seems ok... "Huh, that's weird" and then it dawns on me, a semi-colon only marks the end of a statement. So, technically, it's not an unexpected token if you have an empty statement (which wouldn't break any rules about statements). I decide to try out my theory. I put ;;;;;;;; at the end of a random line in my rust code, hit compile and... it compiles! So that means it is not a bug anymore! I mean, if the big guys that actually know a tad about language design, compilers and all that cool stuff allow it in their languages, why shouldn't it? So I did it, I turned a bug into a feature and now I can go to sleep in peace and stop dreaming about fucking abstract syntax trees (don't mind my kinks >:) ).

Today checked my learning time tracker. I have spent already 80 hours for learning angularjs. And I still am not able to write unit test without errors. What the fuck. How many hours more do I need to finnaly be able to write unit tests without any problem?
Like today getting
An error was thrown in afterAll\nSyntaxError: Unexpected token 'export'
and I do not even use afterAll() funciton so they give error somewhere from the inside of libraries. Why they do that? why cannto they give easy to understand error?
Everytime I sit to write unit test for learning, all the time I feel I will not understand. And I am right everytime. Damn. That makes me need to force motivate myself. I want to see results, not sit at the same place so many time.18
