So I own a webshop together with a guy I met at one of my previous contract jobs. He said he had a great idea to sell product X because he can get them very cheap from another European country. Actually it is a great idea so we decided to work together on this: I do everything tech related, he does the non tech stuff.
Now we are more than 1 year in business. I setup a VPS, completely configured it, installed and setup the complete webshop, built 2 custom PrestaShop modules, built many customizations, built a completely new order proces (both front and back end), advertised quite some products, did some link building, ensured everything is in place to do proper SEO, wrote some content pages, did administration and tax declarations, rewrote a part of a PrestaShop component because it was so damn inefficient and horribly slow, and then some more. Much more.
He did customer relation management, supplier management and some ad words campaigns. Promised me many times to write the content for our product pages. This guy has an education in marketing but literally said: I'm not gonna invest in creating some marketing plan. I have no ambition in online marketing.
What?! You have the marketing knowledge and skills but refuse to use it to market our webshop and business? What the fuck is wrong with you?!
Today he says to me: 'Hey man, this is becoming an expensive hobby as we don't sell much and have lots of costs. I don't understand why I should be the one to write these content pages. Everything you did in the past 8 months can be done in less than 20 hours! You are a joke and just made it a big deal by spreading your work over so many months. I know for sure because I currently work at a company where I'm surrounded by front end devs! Are you fucking crazy?! You're a liar.'
He talks like this to me every 2 months or so while he can't even deliver the content for 1 single product in 6 fuckin' months! We even had to refund a few of our customers because Mr. client relations manager didn't respond to their e-mails within 1 fucking week!! So I asked him how could that have happened as you do the client relations and support. Well, he replied to me: 'Why didn't YOU respond to our clients? You don't log on in our back office at least once a day?!'.
Of course I do asshole. But YOU don't. He replied that I was lying just like I was lying about what I did for our business.
So, asshole, let's have a look at PrestaShops logs to see who's logging in daily. Well, you can probably guess who's IP was there in most of the entries. It wasn't his.
So, what the fuck have you been doing then?! You can't even manage to respond quickly to a client?!! We have maybe 50 clients and if we get 1 question a month by email it is already a lot. But you keep bitching, complaining and insulting me instead?!!!
Last time he literally admitted on a WhatsApp conversation that he had and still has the hope that he could just sit back and relax and watch me do ALL the work.
Well, guess what you fucking moron. That's not what we agreed upon. You fuckin' retard think you're so smart but you say EVERYTHING on WhatsApp! Including your promises to me. Thank you you fuckin' piece of dog shit because now I have hard evidence and will hand it over to my lawyer to make you pay every god damn cent for all the hours I've spent working on our business. Oh, and I'll take over the webshop and make it a success on my own because I know damn well how to get relevant traffic and thus customers.
You just go get yourself fucked in the ass without lubricant you fuckin' asshole. I have told you you shouldn't fuck with me because I take business very seriously. I even warned you when you were crossing a line again. Well, if you don't listen... You will pay for the consequences. I will be so damn happy to tell you 'I told you so' with a very very big smile on my face. That momemt WILL come, 'partner'.
Fuck you. You will be fucked. Count on that. Fucking asshole.9 -
PSA: if, for whatever shit reason your brain comes up with, you decide to run a webminer in your retarded useless piece of shit website, at least HAVE THE DECENCY TO WARN USERS ABOUT IT. And while you're at it, implement some basic monitoring and safety functions. If you don't, you can set yourself on fire and jump from the top of the tallest building you can find.
Some basic tips:
1) don't run that shit on phones. The fraction of a fraction of a cent you're gonna earn from them is not worth the risk of overheating them and draining their batteries.
2) add low battery/overheating protection: the last thing you want to do is kill some poor sucker's laptop (and potential unsaved work) just because they forgot a tab open. Every time a laptop dies because of you, a knife will slit your throat.
3) WARN YOUR USERS ABOUT IT! You are straining someone else's resources for your own profit: at least have the balls to be open about it. If you try to run a miner silently in the background, I will make you eat whatever is left of your fucking brain, then drown you in the shit that comes out of your ass.5 -
In my country, almost every college student is expected to finish their degree and apply for an internship, with some universities forcing them to do it and making it a requirement to finish their studies.
Now, this wouldn't be so bad if almost every internship employer in the country didn't expect you to work for free. Seriously, I can estimate 80% of the internships pay you NOTHING. WTF.
Fortunately this is not the case for CS, but every time I tell somebody I recently started an internship, they will ask me: "Oh, but they don't pay you anything, do they?". Of course they pay me! I wouldn't be going to an office every day for 4 hours to do someone else's work if they didn't!!
Why the fuck is it even legal to employ somebody and not pay them a cent, just because "it will look good on your resume"?? And why do people still accept this shit??
Is is like that on other countries as well?2 -
Just another big rant story full of WTFs and completely true.
The company I work for atm is like the landlord for a big german city. We build houses and flats and rent them to normal people, just that we want to be very cheap and most nearly all our tenants are jobless.
So the company hired a lot of software-dev-companies to manage everything.
The company I want to talk about is "ABI...", a 40-man big software company. ABI sold us different software, e.g. a datawarehouse for our ERP System they "invented" for 300K or the software we talk about today: a document management system. It has workflows, a 100 year-save archive system, a history feature etc.
The software itself, called ELO (you can google it if you want) is a component based software in which every company that is a "partner" can develop things into, like ABI did for our company.
Since 2013 we pay ABI 150€ / hour (most of the time it feels like 300€ / hour, because if you want something done from a dev from ABI you first have to talk to the project manager of him and of course pay him too). They did thousand of hours in all that years for my company.
In 2017 they started to talk about a module in ELO called Invoice-Module. With that you can manage all your paper invoices digital, like scan that piece of paper, then OCR it, then fill formular data, add data and at the end you can send it to the ERP system automatically and we can pay the invoice automatically. "Digitization" is the key word.
After 1.5 years of project planning and a 3 month test phase, we talked to them and decided to go live at 01.01.2019. We are talking about already ~ 200 hours planning and work just from ABI for this (do the math. No. Please dont...).
I joined my actual company in October 2018 and I should "just overview" the project a bit, I mean, hey, they planned it since 1.5 years - how bad can it be, right?
In the first week of 2019 we found 25 bugs and users reporting around 50 feature requests, around 30 of them of such high need that they can't do their daily work with the invoices like they did before without ELO.
In the first three weeks of 2019 we where around 70 bugs deep, 20 of them fixed, with nearly 70 feature requests, 5 done. Around 10 bugs where so high, that the complete system would not work any more if they dont get fixed.
Want examples?
- Delete a Invoice (right click -> delete, no super deep hiding menu), and the server crashed until someone restarts it.
- missing dropdown of tax rate, everything was 19% (in germany 99,9% of all invoices are 19%, 7% or 0%).
But the biggest thing was, that the complete webservice send to ERP wasn't even finished in the code.
So that means we had around 600 invoices to pay with nearly 300.000€ of cash in the first 3 weeks and we couldn't even pay 1 cent - as a urban company!
Shortly after receiving and starting to discussing this high prio request with ABI the project manager of my assigned dev told me he will be gone the next day. He is getting married. And honeymoon. 1 Week. So: Wish him luck, when will his replacement here?
Deep breath.
Deep breath.
There was no replacement. They just had 1 developer. As a 40-people-software-house they had exactly one developer which knows ELO, which they sold to A LOT of companies.
He came back, 1 week gone, we asked for a meeting, they told us "oh, he is now in other ELO projects planned, we can offer you time from him in 4 weeks earliest".
To cut a long story short (it's to late for that, right?) we fought around 3 month with ABI to even rescue this project in any thinkable way. The solution mid February was, that I (software dev) would visit crash courses in ELO to be the second developer ABI didnt had, even without working for ABI....
Now its may and we decided to cut strings with ABI in ELO and switch to a new company who knows ELO. There where around 10 meetings on CEO-level to make this a "good" cut and not a bad cut, because we can't afford to scare them (think about the 300K tool they sold us...).
01.06.2019 we should start with the new company. 2 days before I found out, by accident, that there was a password on the project file on the server for one of the ELO services. I called my boss and my CEO. No one knows anything about it. I found out, that ABI sneaked into this folder, while working on another thing a week ago, and set this password to lock us out. OF OUR OWN FCKING FILE.
Without this password we are not able to fix any bug, develop any feature or even change an image within ELO, regardless, that we paid thausend of hours for that.
When we asked ABI about this, his CEO told us, it is "their property" and they will not remove it.
When I asked my CEO about it, they told me to do nothing, we can't scare them, we need them for the 300K tool.
No punt.
No finish.
Just the project file with a password still there today6 -
Here in singapore, we developers are super under-appreciated, pm always get the credit. and our salary are never decent. is this a global thing or just us? please share18

So at the interview this past Friday, they basically said I got the job and they'll send the paperwork. So then yesterday, I got an email saying "we offering x and can review for a 'more feasible' offer after pronation"
Now previously in this story I mentioned that they were offering 47% of what I was making before but it I really need the work. Now they want me to take even less than that. I think that's actually really dickish since numbers were already discussed and with what they offered I'd actually be loosing money!
They said I could be completely remote(I guess to try and justify paying me less) but it's still not good enough and don't actually want to be 100% remote straight off the bat. I've told them I can't take a cent less than the number first discussed and they said they'll need a few days to discuss it which is an additional frustration as I wanted to start on 1st Oct (tomorrow at time of writing) and they wanted me to start on the first as well.
Basically I think the devs like and want me but the bean counters are trying to save every last penny they can. I think they'll probably agree to pay the original amount but only start me in after a while so they can pro-rata the first month and still give me what basically amounts to loose change.
I really wanted this one to work out as I got good vibes from the devs and I am just so tired of looking and dealing with full of crap recruiters7 -

The world needs to know the truth
👁️👁️👁️
🔥🔥🔥
Have to make a separate rant for this cause it deserves to be outlined and for the whole world to know the truth about my junkhole trash country Serbia (europe)
🔥🔥🔥
$1000 usd is 6 figures in my currency.
In economy schools they said
If you earn $1200/month usd in serbia you are in TOP 3% of highest earners
If you earn $2500/month usd in serbia you are in TOP 1% of highest earners
This must mean that i am now in TOP what 10% of highest earners in my country?
A bearly over 10,000$ usd a year, is TOP 10% of earners in Serbia. And i have to work 2 or perhaps 3 dev jobs as 1 person to be fortunate enough to be in those TOP 10%
And every day i keep seeing multiple 5 figure and 6 figure USD expensive cars, lambos ferraris brabus g wagons audi rs7 mercedes s class (2023) porsches, and when I say porsches people here LOVE porsches so much more than any other fucking car that porsche has became the most common car here that people drive! A used Porsche is at minimum 80,000$ usd!!! Thats 8+ years working my job, assuming im not spending 1 single cent, just to buy a used porsche, while hundreds of people drive them daily!!!!
My neighbor sold his mercedes s class and bought a GLS AMG 2023 brand new for over 225,000 fucking $!!!! Thats over 225 YEARS OF MY LIFE working this matrix job without spending a cent to buy that car. This is fucking RIDICULOUS
The world HAS to know the truth about corruption and slavery happening in Serbia. I will be the voice of truth that shall not be silenced. Anyone claiming otherwise is working for one of these corrupted shitfucks.
Incredible how corruption and unfairness sets you free out of the box than playing the matrix game. Unreal to me. I knew it was bad but i never knew it was THIS bad
If I was earning a normal wage salary i wouldnt be complaining. A normal wage salary for me is at minimum 100k a year. Or if i have to be generous then high end of 5 figures. Thats the only way to afford to buy one of these cars. Because how else do these fucking people buy them? Obviously not by working a matrix job
If you think i have unrealistic expectations then you need to unfuck your mind and realize that we are working a VERY difficult fucking job in this tech industry, SO difficult that a 100k should be the fucking minimum. Out of sheer respect towards this EXTREME HARD WORK, we DESERVE to get a high compensation in return -- not a fucking survival slavery wage salary bullshit! The moment you realize that you're underpaid if you earn less than 100k as a software engineer, is the moment you have unfucked your mind and now you have found the truth!15 -
Freelancers, what's it like?
Would you recommend it?
What stacks are must have?
What's maintenance like?
What's dealing with hosting like?
Is it mostly webdev? Is there any market for anything else really?
I'm thinking about going that direction. I've been burned by one company too many. I don't know how I can trust a company again. I also that if I have to really manually earn every last cent, might be the best way to make myself care about my work
I'm thinking about it8 -
The blockchain TruthChain mainnet is running.
Version 0.2.5 is out. It is a crypto no-one will ever make a single cent with so if you're money oriented go and work something. Whatever :D
The consensus is working, the node decides that its time to make the block, and ask everyone for approval to create it, if every other node agrees (100% consensus) then he creates it. The mainnet still tries to reconnect to the nodes he was connected before even though it reconnected already. Please fix it for me. Thanks.

TRUSTWORTHY BTC AND ETHEREUM RECOVERY EXPERT= CONSULT SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY
I saw a post in a Facebook group about a great employment opportunity. The job offer seemed perfectly good salary, benefits, and flexible hours. The agency behind the offer appeared professional, so I decided to apply. Everything seemed normal at first, but then they asked for my personal details and a payment to process the application. They assured me that this was standard procedure, so I trusted them and paid the fee. Not long after, everything went wrong. The job offer disappeared, and I could no longer reach the agency. I tried contacting them through the details they had provided, but no one responded. That's when I realized something was terribly wrong. I later discovered that the fraudsters had used my personal information to apply for credit loans in my name, created an ID.me account to impersonate me, and even filed for tax refunds. The total amount of money they stole from me was a staggering $423,300 USD.I felt completely lost and devastated. I didn’t know where to turn, so I reached out to SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY. Their team acted quickly and professionally. They tracked down the scammers and worked tirelessly to recover all of the stolen funds. With their help, I was able to get every cent of the money back. The process was not easy, but SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY kept me informed every step of the way. Their expertise and persistence made all the difference. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them. Thanks to their hard work, I could finally start to get back on my feet and focus on moving forward. This experience taught me a hard lesson about the importance of being cautious when applying for jobs online. Scammers can easily create convincing profiles and manipulate people into giving up their personal information. Now, I make sure to verify any job opportunity thoroughly before sharing anything online. It’s essential to be extra careful and, if something feels off, trust your instincts. I'm grateful to have recovered my money, but this ordeal has left me with a heightened awareness of how vulnerable we can be in the digital world. Anyone looking for jobs online should always be cautious, and never hesitate to reach out for help if they suspect they’ve been scammed.

Late last year, I fell victim to a sophisticated cryptocurrency investment scam. A so-called trading platform promised high returns and showed fake profits in a polished dashboard. I invested slowly at first, but as I saw what looked like actual gains, I ended up sending a total of $434,000 — my life savings. Then one day, the platform vanished. My account was locked, and support emails bounced back. I was devastated. At first, I felt ashamed and completely helpless. I reported the crime to local authorities and filed complaints with financial watchdogs, but nothing came of it. That’s when I came across iCode Cybertech — a cybersecurity and digital forensics firm specializing in crypto recovery. Skeptical but desperate, I reached out. From the first consultation, iCode Cybertech showed professionalism and a deep understanding of blockchain tracing. They assigned me a case manager who explained the process in clear terms: digital forensics, transaction tracking, legal coordination, and if needed, coordination with exchanges to freeze or recover funds. Within days, their analysts had traced the stolen funds through a complex chain of wallets. They uncovered links to known scam operations and collaborated with a global network of blockchain intelligence partners. After weeks of effort — and incredible persistence — they managed to freeze a significant portion of the stolen crypto held in an exchange’s wallet. It took nearly three months of investigation, documentation, and legal work, but in the end, iCode Cybertech recovered my entire $434,000. Every cent. They also helped me put preventive cybersecurity measures in place so I’d never fall victim again. I can’t thank iCode Cybertech enough. They not only helped me recover my money but restored my peace of mind. If you’ve been a victim of a crypto scam, don’t give up. Help is out there — and for me, that help was iCode Cybertech.

RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY: PIONEERING BITCOIN RESTORATION SOLUTIONS
I was horrified when I lost my 45,000 ETH for the first time. It accounted for a sizeable amount of my savings, which I had built up over years of cautious investing and faith in the cryptocurrency industry. It was a sophisticated hack, not a bad trade or market meltdown, that caused the loss. I felt completely powerless after the money was taken directly out of my wallet. I initially turned to multiple recovery services in the hope of recovering my stolen assets. However, after months of dealing with fraudulent services and ineffective solutions, I was on the verge of writing off my entire investment. Many services seemed like nothing more than scams, preying on vulnerable individuals like myself. They promised miracles but left me with empty assurances and no results. I was about to give up when a buddy suggested Rapid Digital Recovery, a brand I had never heard of. I was first dubious because I had previously been burned and didn't want to put my trust in another provider. However, Rapid Digital Recovery felt different in some way. They took a professional approach, spoke openly, and sincerely wanted to provide a workable answer. From the very first consultation, I was impressed by their level of expertise. They took the time to explain how they worked, the tools they used to trace stolen funds, and the process they followed to attempt to recover assets. They didn’t promise a quick fix but reassured me that they had successfully assisted others in similar situations. They walked me through each step of the process and kept me updated at every stage. Over the next several weeks, I saw the results of their hard work. Rapid Digital Recovery employed advanced techniques to track the stolen ETH across various blockchain networks and worked tirelessly with law enforcement and crypto exchanges to trace its movements. Their team showed a level of dedication and professionalism that I hadn’t seen from any other recovery service. I’m happy to say that, after months of intense work, Rapid Digital Recovery was able to recover the majority of my stolen ETH—around 42,000 ETH, which was an incredible relief. While not every cent was returned, the recovery rate far exceeded my expectations, and I felt like I had regained control over my financial future. What stood out the most about my experience with Rapid Digital Recovery was their transparency and integrity throughout the process. Unlike many other services, they never made unrealistic promises or pressured me into paying exorbitant fees upfront. They were clear about what was achievable and kept me informed every step of the way. If you find yourself in a similar situation—dealing with the devastating loss of crypto assets due to theft or fraud—I highly recommend Rapid Digital Recovery. Their expertise, dedication, and ethical approach to recovery make them stand out in an industry plagued with unreliable services. I can confidently say that without them, I would have likely lost my entire investment. Contact for more info: ....... Web site Info: https: // ra pi ddigit alrecove ry .o rg ....... BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT HIRE SLAYER COIN RECOVERY
As a former US Army chef, I dedicated years of service to my country, embracing the values of discipline, hard work, and the profound bonds forged through shared sacrifice. Each meal I prepared for my fellow soldiers transcended mere sustenance; it became a symbol of unity and a commitment to a greater cause. The kitchen was my battlefield, where I learned the importance of teamwork and resilience. After leaving the military, I carried these values into civilian life, determined to build a secure future for my family. My venture into cryptocurrency was a strategic move, a way to invest wisely and ensure that my children’s dreams could become a reality. However, disaster struck when I least expected it. One evening at home, after a long day, I let my guard down, feeling the weight of exhaustion. A single click on a seemingly harmless email link turned out to be a devastating phishing attack. In mere moments, scammers compromised my phone, and my Bitcoin wallet containing $200,000 of our family’s hard-earned savings vanished into thin air. The shock was paralyzing, akin to an ambush by an unseen enemy. It felt as though I had not only lost money but also the future I had worked tirelessly to protect. The weight of failure bore down on me, and I was left grappling with the question: how could I face my husband, knowing I had let our security slip away?Refusing to surrender to despair, I contacted a comrade from my military days and shared my predicament. He had faced a similar ordeal and urged me to reach out to SLAYER COIN RECOVERY. His unwavering confidence in their expertise rekindled a spark of hope within me. In December 2024, I found myself embroiled in a financial nightmare that I never imagined would happen to me. This experience has left me with profound lessons, and I share it in the hope that others can avoid the same fate. I am truly grateful to Almighty God for helping me recover both my funds and my peace of mind after an ordeal that seemed insurmountable at the time. It all started innocently enough when I met a woman on a platform called Red note. She presented herself as an investment specialist and seemed very knowledgeable. After several days of friendly chats, she convinced me to send her $10,000 to make an investment that she assured me would yield significant returns. Trusting her expertise, I transferred the money. Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a terrifying ordeal. The very next day, something I never could have predicted happened: the woman somehow gained access to my retirement account and drained every last cent from it. The loss was not only financial but deeply emotional. My sense of security, built over years of hard work and saving, was shattered in a matter of hours. I was left feeling helpless, vulnerable, and grieving over the loss of everything I had worked so hard to accumulate. For several days, I was lost in despair, uncertain of what to do next. Then, by sheer chance, I ran into an old classmate at a local bus station. She noticed I seemed down and asked if everything was okay. After I explained my situation, she shared that she had gone through something similar and had managed to recover her lost funds with the help of a professional. She introduced me to a recovery expert who had helped her, and in my desperation, I decided to reach out. Within just four days, I began working with a team from TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY. To my amazement, they were able to recover my lost funds in less than 48 hours. I could hardly believe it—my entire savings had been restored. This experience taught me an invaluable lesson about the importance of vigilance and trust, but also the power of seeking help when you find yourself in a crisis. While I will never forget the anxiety and fear I experienced during those harrowing days, I am now able to move forward with more knowledge and a renewed sense of caution. I hope my story serves as a warning to others: always be careful with your financial decisions, and never be afraid to ask for help from TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY when needed.

It all began with an offer that seemed almost unbelievable: a guaranteed 110% return in just 14 days. The website claimed that a $2,000 AUD investment would grow to $2,200 AUD in only two weeks. As a newcomer to investing, the prospect of such quick and substantial returns was hard to resist. Living in Sydney, I saw this as a golden opportunity to grow my savings, so I decided to invest $10,000 AUD into each platform, convinced that I was making a smart move. At first, everything appeared to be going according to plan. My investment seemed to be steadily increasing, and the first few days passed without any problems. I started feeling more confident about my decision. However, as the 14-day period came to a close, my excitement turned to frustration. When I logged in to check on my funds, I found I could no longer access my account. It was as though my money had vanished. My emails to customer support went unanswered, and every attempt to withdraw my funds resulted in vague error messages. What I had once seen as a brilliant investment quickly became a nightmare. I was stuck, unable to retrieve a single cent. It didn’t take long for me to realize I had most likely fallen prey to an online scam. The sinking feeling was hard to ignore, but I knew I had to act quickly. Feeling desperate and uncertain of where to turn, I contacted a friend I had met on Facebook, who had been in a similar situation. They recommended I reach out to Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven, a service they had used to recover their funds after being scammed by another platform. Though I was hesitant, I decided to give it a try. To my relief, the team at Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven responded swiftly and began walking me through the recovery process. They explained how prevalent scams like this were and reassured me that they could help recover my funds. After making a financial commitment, I provided them with the details of my case, and the team immediately set to work locating my money. They kept me updated every step of the way and offered helpful advice on how to avoid falling for similar scams in the future. Within a few weeks, I had successfully recovered the full $20,000 AUD I had invested. Thanks to Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven, I not only got my money back but also received invaluable advice on how to safely navigate online investments.
