It's 21:42. I had 1 month to write a report on my internship. Day after tomorrow is submission. I'm starting now.
I deleted Facebook Inc.'s products long time ago, deleted YouTube app, removed Quora account, put filters on suggestions for Stack Exchange networks, blocked Reddit, stopped Spotify, started Trello/Wunderlist/Evernote to organise thoughts, ForestApp and StayFocusd for controlled browsing, deleted Tumblr etc. All this just to focus on the report and get it done as soon as possible.
Now I FOUND devRant! What the fuck world! Why!? I'm now ranting about issue on devRant with this rant. <- this sentence is a meta, if you didn't realise.9 -
It's amazing what two cans of redbull and monster, a well organized to-do list on Wunderlist, 36 hours of nonstop programming and a deadline that's dangerously approaching can do in a sane man.
Now excuse me world but I'll have the longest nap in years starting fro3 -
I've created a small smart home web app 2 or 3 years ago.
Features:
- Change DECT heating controller settings
- Philips Hue control
- Wunderlist integration
- Send a cooking recipe to the web app (from a large recipe site, with a greasymonkey script)
I've mounted an old Android tablet to a kitchen cupboard where the web app runs in kiosk mode in fullscreen (you can swipe between the different panels).
The web app is build with .NET Core Web-API, Vue.js and MariaDB. Everything runs on a Raspberry Pi.
Last year I've discovered openHAB with HABPanel...1 -

Fuck microsoft and fuck everyone who buys out services just to create a monopoly:
"We don’t have a date for closing Wunderlist’s service yet, so you can continue to use it for now, even though we recommend everyone to also check out Microsoft To-Do." – Marcel, 9/11/201711 -
Coming to the end of a project and set up Wunderlist to do a snag list whilst testing, decided to involve my client, which worked out great initially but now they started adding features to it. Now in a situation of explaining that feature additions at this stage require a proper functional spec and costing as they may mean a rewrite of existing code and could derail the project. Are all clients dim or just mine?

In case anyone is wondering what Microsoft were planning to do with Wunderlist, this appears to be it...

Alright. So bye bye to sticky notes. I finally started using Wunderlist app.
No more handwriting I guess :-/2 -
What are some good wunderlist replacement in Mac? What note taking/todo apps are you currently using and why?
I have Fantastical 2 and Boostnote. Heard that Taylor Otwell uses Bear (not cross platform/apple eco system only)
Currently I'm checking/testing out Onenote Mac app and so far it is good. Next I'll check ticktick and any.do
Thanks! :)6 -
I was wondering if any of you know any other online planner apps, such as Wunderlist - https://wunderslist.org/. It's been a huge help, but now that it's closed, I really don't know what to do...
