I got my first gig as an android developer a couple of months back.
Today, my changes got merged into candidate, soon to be released.
Although they are mostly bug fixes, I feel proud that code written by me will be rolled out to 400000 users. :')3 -
One good thing about taking a dump at work is that no matter how senior or junior you are, the sounds are pretty much the same.5

Holy shit why can't you just work. Stop talking about your kids from 9 am to 5pm with the orther person sitting next to you who clearly wants to get some work done.
Also, good on you for baking a cake and your kid saying this is the best cake. Every kid says that to your parent.
FFS, shut up and work, and let people around you work.
P.S. I need good headphones, preferably in ear wireless buds. I'm waiting for Pixel Buda 2.17 -
TL; DR;
I'm one with code and the code is one with me.
Everything in my life has been inconsistent and as soon as I start building expectations from someone or something, it disappoints. Be it my friends (😂😂) or my ex girlfriend or my studies or my college or my professors or work, or food (sometimes).
Coding, or programming, has been the only consistent and non disappointing thing since 2010 for me. It just works. If I write a wrong program, I know its why and where its wrong and then fixing it works. Sometimes it works in one go. And sometimes is works beyond my expectations. Its like coding chose me rather than me chosing coding. -
Rubber duck didn't understand code. So decided to use the expert for Android.
Meet Little Buggy.
P. S. I have 2 more, makes a complete family! 😀4 -
Any place to run a simple python script? For free.
I just need to keep it running, forever.
Can't run on my laptop, script needs constant internet.12 -

My laptop just died for the third time.
Need to buy a new one. Not a mac.
Linux machine with 15" screen, sdd, usb c, with 8gb ram and a graphics processor.
Suggestions?29 -
Change code here, 500
Revert and change code there, 403
Revert and change code at both the places, 404
Revert and have a Potato -
Oh, I've got one.
Selfie trash can. It captures your selfie and uploads it to social media whenever you the throw trash, to promote usage of trash can!6 -
This is a legit rant.
What would you ask in a written/online test if you are hiring a mobile app developer, specifically android?
I'll tell you guys what I was asked after I get 10 comments sharing the community's views, so that I don't make a fool of myself.5 -
When the web conf guy bores you with very stupid and slow tech! 😐
I already have better tech for the same thing, why do you even bother to sell yourself!2 -
Working on Python+Flask delpoyed on bluemix. The app failed to start. After 4 hours of debugging by all the 4 members of thr team, we together found that there was a tab in an otherwise space intended file, which was tripping bluemix.
This a during a hackathon
Resolved it 20 mins before submission
We won the hackathon!2 -
Vacations about to end.
Don't wanna go back to college.
WiFi ain't that good. And my ex is there too :(3 -
I could not do anything else. Physics, Chemistry, Biology didn't interest me.
Tried competitve programming, failed miserably.
Tried app dev and server dev, they surprise me with their awesomeness everyday :D1
