when you spend hours and days working on something and it actually works...am I forgetting something. I don't trust it.

Our clients don't know anything about development. Our account manager doesn't know anything about development. For people who don't know a lot about development, the word "script" gets thrown around WAY too much. It makes me cringe.

Dev: "What if the user has more than 100 entries? How would that display?"
UX: "They won't ever have that many"
Dev: "But what if they do?"
UX: "They won't."
