"Sleep" is the last frontier in high performance computing. Is your code still slow? Just Sleep™, and you'll have your results instantly*.

Breakup really kills the mood to work for a long time eh?
I have a multiplayer minesweeper project in the works. It's great, everything is super slick. Using SASS, Node.JS, MVC design, WebGL... It's a super great, modern project and I am very proud of it.
But I just can't continue it. I open my editor and I just ignore it. I play video games, go outside... Anything except code. It hurts to see myself do this.
I have some great designs for it. You're allowed to play anonymously or logged in. VS mode and everything.
I was going to share the discord link when I launched the alpha... But I think maybe I need to start building a community now so that I can gain my motivation back.
Before the breakup I worked on it daily. I was learning new technologies left and right (SASS being the largest, and WebGL is the next frontier)
It hurts to see. Today after I get off work maybe I will try harder.8 -
Have you heard about the Embrace, Expand and Extinguish idealogy? lets think about it:
Javascript 5 (embrace) -> Typescript and Class syntax to Javascript 6 (extend) -> JS (extinguish) with WebASM.
Atom/Electron (embrace) -> Atom fork named "VSCode" (extend) -> Atom (extinguish) as it was developbed by Github company.
NodeJS (embrace) -> incompatible Node Windows fork with IE/Edge JS engine "Chakra" (extend) -> NodeJS (extinguish soon) with chaos of Typescript, Javascript 6 and Github.
"R" lang (embrace) -> incompatible SQL Server 2016 R lang extension (extend) -> R lang (extinguish soon).
Android -> CyanogenMod (embrace) -> CyanogenMod (extinguish) as M$ "sponsored" Cyanogen Inc to destroy CyanogenMod
Linux (prejudge) -> sponsors RedHat, Debian, SuSE, Alpine and Canonical/Ubuntu (embrace), forces unstable backdoored "systemd" -> Linux (extinguish soon)
Reusing the last image I did because I didnt wanted to make more OC stuff cos the few ++ gained arent worth it5 -

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, the demand for streamlined operations and rapid delivery of high-quality software has never been higher. Enter DevOps Managed Services https://dbserv.com/devops-managed-s... , a transformative approach that blends development and operations seamlessly, empowering organizations to achieve unparalleled efficiency and innovation.
But what exactly are DevOps Managed Services, and how do they differ from traditional DevOps practices? Let's delve into the intricacies and unearth the hidden advantages that set this paradigm apart.
At its core, DevOps Managed Services encapsulates a comprehensive suite of services aimed at orchestrating the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring. Unlike conventional DevOps models, where internal teams bear the brunt of managing infrastructure and tools, DevOps Managed Services entrust these responsibilities to specialized external providers. This not only alleviates the burden on in-house resources but also brings forth a wealth of expertise and best practices honed through years of experience.
One of the primary virtues of DevOps Managed Services lies in its ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. By fostering tighter integration between development and operations teams, organizations can break down silos, streamline communication, and accelerate the pace of delivery. Through automated workflows, robust monitoring, and proactive maintenance, DevOps Managed Services ensure that software releases are not only frequent but also reliable and resilient.
Moreover, DevOps Managed Services pave the way for enhanced scalability and flexibility. With on-demand access to a plethora of resources and tools, organizations can effortlessly scale their infrastructure to meet fluctuating demands, without the hassle of provisioning and managing hardware. This agility is particularly invaluable in today's dynamic market landscape, where adaptability can spell the difference between success and stagnation.
Furthermore, DevOps Managed Services serve as a beacon of cost-efficiency. By leveraging economies of scale and optimized resource utilization, organizations can significantly reduce their operational expenditures, all while maximizing the value derived from their IT investments. From minimizing downtime and mitigating risks to optimizing resource allocation and enhancing productivity, the financial benefits of DevOps Managed Services are manifold and far-reaching.
Last but not least, DevOps Managed Services act as a catalyst for innovation. By offloading mundane operational tasks and empowering internal teams to focus on value-added initiatives, organizations can unleash their creative potential and drive transformative change. Whether it's experimenting with cutting-edge technologies, embracing DevSecOps principles, or embracing a cloud-native mindset, DevOps Managed Services provide the fertile ground upon which innovation thrives.
In conclusion, DevOps Managed Services represent a paradigm shift in how organizations approach software delivery and operations. By outsourcing the management of infrastructure and tools to specialized providers, organizations can unlock a myriad of benefits, including enhanced efficiency, scalability, cost-efficiency, and innovation. As we navigate the digital frontier, embracing DevOps Managed Services isn't just a choice – it's a strategic imperative for organizations looking to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape. -

I don't know how it works with my team but almost always I'm the one who is at the frontier when there is a need to migrate to new technology or to do something that nobody in my team knows how to do including me. So usually when we have planning and nobody wants to take the task I take it because someone has to do it. I think it's not my job to only do the things that I know but I'm expected to work outside my comfort zone and I wish others did the same. What happens after I'm done reading docs, testing and learning new thing is that I have to deliver training about it. The funny thing is that I also have to train experts and I'm below expert6

So, to keep a long story short, I am for the second time in my life the proud owner of a Macintosh Performa 6115CD in working order. The original Descent is just as fun as I remember it being—after taking a day to remember the best control configuration for keyboard.
I've got some ideas on how to get it online* so that I can transfer things to it.
Just for fun, however, I've been thinking it might be an interesting project to try and do some programming for it. I got my start on this setup, though not in Objective-C. Anyone happen to know of any free/abandonware coding setups for classic Mac? Running 7.5.3 at the moment.
