Spent fifteen minutes finding the right playlist to listen to while coding
5 minute later, I pause the music trying to focus6 -
You know, one of my worst fears as a programmer isn’t a bug, or shitty clients, it’s not even happening on my computer.
It’s when I can’t find a good playlist to listen to because the good ones I listen to way to much and I get sick of them so I get stuck with nothing and my Brain simply can’t function without a butt shaking toon!1 -
If you’re tired of the great Bleeps & Bloops playlist by Spotify, I’ve created Volume 2 and 3. Same kind of “background ambience”-feeling. Perfect when coding 😄3

These days I'm listening to french music so much.
Even when coding. Trust me I am loving it and productivity really increased.6 -
I love listening to music when programming. It's not something I started because I wanted to, but it just kinda happened.
In my first job as an intern, they followed concept of open office, a very shitty strategy as it led to chaos and noise all the time around my desk. To move away from that, bought a pair of Sony headphones, which I still consider as my best investment.
Started listening to songs since they're a better choice in the cacophony of chaos present around. These days, even though I work in a regular and calm environment still can't seem to get rid of the practice of listening to songs.
Anyone here have similar experience??
P.S. Suggest some good songs to listen to while programming!!1 -
Fuck, Twitter! DevRant is where it’s at! Anyway, what’s some good music to jam out too while programming? I am into all sorts! I am sick of my playlist.5

Anyone else listen to asmr while programming? I personally find it easier to work with some tapping in the background. I've been listening to https://youtu.be/can8TTS_TmQ recently and it's been great for keeping g me focused on a project or task.2

Hey guys, this question isn't really dev related, I just want to know some of the devs on here's musical tastes, so please commemt your favorite music genres, bands...etc4

Be it public parks, or airports.
Be it people bitching about a perfectly good cup of coffee/chai or people snoring in a library.
If not for my earphones, I would be exponentially ineffective each day, and melt down in a blob of exhaustion.
I become such a infinite source of all peace after I plug my earphones in and it continues for some hours after I take them off.1 -

Does anybody use SomaFm as their daily driver? It's an online curated radio service. They have a very interesting list of channels and each channel is curated. They have channels from metal to alt rock to electronica to trance to folk.
I have recently discovered them and loving it. Clementine has SomaFM in its list of internet services. That's how I discovered them.2
