When you gotta sleep rn to wake up for college tomorrow but you've got a competitive programming problem stuck in your mind that just refuse to go away.

I am still in college and will be going for a job next year. I want to learn Java with all the best practices associated with it. What I would like to do is do a large enough project that would enable me to learn industry standards and use the best practices(effective java etc) in actual code.

So I would ask the devrant community to give some project ideas that would use these practices extensively. I don't know if I am making myself clear here, but any help would be appreciated.
