Forgot to bring me laptop to college, so had to use the age old Turbo C complier on college PC. So had to do some power calculation.. used the pow() function, forgot to include math.h...
And bamm!!! It compiled and I had no idea why the pow function isn't giving the correct value!!

Lesson learnt: never trust anything!!

So we had to register for placements.. and the company sent email with plain text password.. and thats the password i registered with! nice!

BTW.. its one of the biggest company in IT industry globally.

Spent hours debugging and realise Object should have been object. Thanks documentation and Unity error messages!!

When I accidentally committed my Firebase Admin SDK to my public repo.

After years of game dev!

This is triggering me sooo much!!!

So we were making android application for our college festival.. we decided to use Firebase as our primary service for "everything". Decided to use Firestore as database as it wouldn't require much web API call, and mainly as it had a free plan.

We thought that we would never hit the limits of free plan... Needless to say, we started hitting the daily limits about a week before the fest. And it became more of an issue a few days before the fest when we started to hit the limits within 4 hours of the day!!!

But we were lucky enough that the app sustained on the day of festival, lucky enough!!

Thank you devRant!!! My day couldn't have been more awesome!!!
