Mum: I'm worried about our son, I guess he was hacking today
Dad: What? [Chuckle] No. He's not that grown up enough. Prolly programming.
Mum: But, the screen was all blue and there was nothing but text on it. And then suddenly it went blank. So, I asked him what he was doing and he said it was a BSOD. That sounds scary NSA level stuff.
Dad: it isn't [came out of the room, saw me there]

Debugging on production

The wife ask her husband to run some errands..

Wife: "Honey, please go to the market and buy 1 dozen of eggs, and if they have milk, buy 2."

Husband: "Ok honey!"

After a while, the husband came back..

Husband: "Honey! Here are your 2 dozen eggs!"

Came across a picture of one of my old projects from college. This still sums up my code today...

How come starting a new project is always more appealing than finishing the infinite amount of unfinished projects :'(

When you planed to do some coding for your self on weekend and can only sleep and do dumb stuff. Because you know it's a weekend.

1) Starting long running process on a Windows test computer.
2) Switching back to working computer and coding.
3) Switching to the test computer to see how the long process is doing and sees the Win10 reboot screen saying "We are getting a few things ready for you..."

Just gotta love it when MS decides when it's a good time to reboot. :-(

Should I remove the code, or comment it out until the client changes their minds...

BSOD of the day

Learning to code in Visual Studio with such lame examples that I literally have to minimize my screen so that no one mocks me. #beginnerproblems

Completed Angular 2 course on codeschool, really liked improvements and simplicity of Angular over Angularjs. Decided to do quick start guide in official website. Oh my f**king god... I need to setup webpack, typescript linter, typings, polyfills etc angular2-cli is no better, crawling with errors... why... why can't one just start a project and work instead spending loads of timing configuring all of that... AND WHY WE CANT HAVE PROPER SUPPORT FOR LATEST FEATURES...

I don't even know what I am ranting about... I just wish to spend more time creating things than configuring for ages development environment.
