If you don't format your code correctly in a time where IDE's do it with a fucking shortcut you should boil a kettle, pour it over your useless fucking head, and throw yourself off the nearest building, you absolute useless cunt.5

Somebody put milk in the tea kettle.
To be entirely fair, I'm sure nobody from here has ever seen a kettle, let alone used one.18 -
I might actually quit. I'm within weeks (Army-stupidity pending) of working remote and not having to interact with my boss face to face, and I might quit.
2 week long call, everything I suggested was turned down/dismissed by him. Turns out, the second thing I suggested may have resolved the issue... After he decided he was going to take over the call.
While I was on the call, he ran the coffee maker, the kettle, banged his dishes around in the metal sink, and honestly tried to create as much noise as humanly possible, as he does for all my calls. I have multiple signs up requesting people be considerate.
He works for a different company, so I can't call HR, and I'm at the end of my patience.3 -
This article (based on a series of real tweets) is a hilarious description of the current state of the Internet of Things 😂

Bought cup noodle to save time and hassle. Forgot to turn on the electric kettle. Pour the water into cup without checking temperature. In the end, have to cook with the pot anyway. What the **** am I doing?5

Http/2 server push is really cool. Like, really fucking cool. Those researchers at google really got this right. I hate how they handle their users but I have to say they really make good use of the money they get by selling us for kettle.2

We have this kettle that says "perfect memory" on the box, so does that mean it has ecc I would hate for a bit flip to occur and it make my tea too hot.2

Kettle switch has stopped working (i.e. it needs to be held down to make it work). But that got me thinking, I could get a pi zero, attach it to a relay, serve up an interface that allows me to select amount of water and temperature, glue the button on and I have my very own smart kettle.
People here love IoT right?12 -
They say “think outside the box”. When you're depressed, the box is made of concrete. The more depressed you are, the smaller the box.
Our brain is wired to cut off thought processes that take too much energy. In depression, this mechanism works against you, cutting off everything but laying down. To me, get up in the morning and go brush my teeth is too outside the box. Thinking about it is like touching a boiling kettle. Painful, ouch-y, and my brain doesn't even want me to think about doing it.
I'm working and living in my bed. I don't really get up. Should I even say about things like going out or cooking?3 -

I've found that a caramel latte pairs nicely with kettle-cooked bbq potato chips.
Or I'm just weird.2 -
completely unrelated to work but when i'm a speedreading retard and i meet somebody who is an even bigger speedreading retard, it infuriates me despite the irony of pot calling kettle black
