The worst bad practice I do is I keep going to work.
Many years down the road I will probably look back and say I should have spent more time with my wife (who are you?) and children (wow, you are tall).4 -
Never begin a freelance project without a down-payment -.- 240+ hours in, an eager sounding client, no response for weeks now! What a waste.4

Me: I know so many languages, I don't need to learn c++ to follow along with this 3D OpenGl tutorial!
Narrator: Oh, but he did need to know c++ to follow along with the 3D OpenGl tutorial.4 -
Got a job with EA
Went down like this during the interview
Hiring Manager: your second part of your resume seems to be missing?
Me: second part is $20
Hiring Manager: Welcome on board9 -
Today we interviewed a _very_ good Angular1 Dev, by chance we showed him the forked ngRouter module we use, after some debate he explained that we were using it incorrectly.. I asked if he'd used it before to which he responded:
"Yeah, I'm the guy who built it"

Love working with atom using this theme in coffeeshops, making people think I'm a top hacker, when in reality I'm just stuck with css classes or something. Equally stupid.25

So, I just reverse engineered devRant Android app so that I can open devRant links directly with the app instead of browser.
A simple one line modification.
Hope it's added in the official one.
PS: I can upload that apk if someone needs! (Different signature ofc!)23 -
The best parts of being a developer:
1. Full Internet access and admin rights.
2. It's nearly impossible for someone to tell if you are working or just zoning out.
3. We have the best online communities... because we make all of them.7 -
Web developers - if you can write code to tell me that my phone number or credit card number shouldn't have spaces in it, just remove the #$!@$!* spaces for me FFS! You know very well people are going to put the spaces in there...15

I bet every developer has a few "personal" projects you started once, but then abandoned because you started working on your next fun project.
So many unfinished things ;)11 -
I've realised in most of my website development I've spent most of my time modifying the nav bar then developing other parts2

Why does almost everyone posting their setup have just HTML on their monitors. Is that all we have here :P?4
