Last week I got 2 offers to work remotely which is amazing for me and both of them sponsorship me to their respective countries.
I finally resign and finally I'll going after some life quality which I was looking for at this point of my life.5
I started learning Golang, at first sign I like it since I came from C++ background so seems very friendly at first sight.
Yesterday I took some time to read algorithms and data structures book and some patterns of language looks quite different for me anyway.
Someone has a good detailed explained book, tutorial or whatever for Golang to share?
I tried the documentation but I didn't understand it too much, looks very advanced for someone is newbie on the language.12
I don't have it. Not because I don't like to study or don't like to evolve.
I tried several times go back to college, but unfortunately I don't see myself wasting money and time inside a classroom hours per day for something I can read on a book and learn by myself in few days / hours.
I know there's some subjects it's quite hard and we need some guidance for help us, but, we have the community to ask, forums and a lot information on internet.
OK, but why I'm doing this rant?
Recently I got a good job offer in a good country but my potencial employer and me is facing issues to go trough the process because the country to give me the IT visa requires the college degree.
Sometimes I regret to not have enough cold blood to finish the damn college just becuase of the piece of paper (which doesn't proff anything and we cannot even use to clean the $_@#$"@).
My home country (which is a third world country) is already noticed that and they start doing some laws and visas to ease the hiring IT professionals and they're leaving at companies expanses and responsabilities to verify is a good professional or not, but, the price is high for that. But at least the companies there's a way now to get someone.
And also I start see a loot excelent and genius programmers and others IT professionals which are skipping the degree to see and face same issues as me.
I hope our field finally put a end to this burocracies.15
The company now is making us work again on Saturday.
They want to 2 guys (me and the mobile developer) to entire systems for them in a 1-month time span.
I need another job asap.13
Companies : we cannot provide sponsorship.
Me: I can pay for my visa.
Companies : we don't provide relocation.
Me: I can arrange my own ticketes.
Companies never reply back.
It's incrible how many openings for developers I saw around the world and when we apply for them we have to face this issues.
I know some countries is a pain to sort out the documentation, but another countries is very easy and always I face this bulshit and this stupid behavior.
The worst part is they made us waste time with assessment and don't give any shit for feedback.
I made by myselft my own recruitment process for each company that I worked for and I answered each candidate when they didn't pass on the assessment and why and in interview without fear of hurt feelings.
It's best being sad for not passed in the process for any reason that they would could told me than get this limbo.3
I start to apply some nice concepts also in the simple Todo List that I'm doing (repository pattern, resources controllers and etc).
I'm really like, you can check on my github profile https://github.com/Messhias/...
Someone is already used this framework for a real business application? I'm liking a lot to play with it.11
Sometimes I want to chat in private with my rants friends here but unfortunately the dev rant there's no option for private messages.
This is bad.7
Last week I did a test for a huge real estate company here in Dubai.
The test they asked to create a database of students and use jquery datatables so far is easy.
But they told you cannot use any framework and uses mvc structure, in other words, build your own framework. It's ok.
But my main concern is, the company is quite famous to not provide proper feedbacks or just forgot about you. And I would be very piss off if after of 3 entires days building my own framework, doing documentation, code comments those guys didn't reply me any feedback.4
Again I am unemployed, and now in a worse situation than before. In a country far from family, parents and everyone I know, just me and my wife and in a very difficult situation.
Summing up what happened was as follows:
My previous boss had a very horrible habit of being rude to everyone, yelling at the developers in the middle of the office and being rude whenever he could. And when he saw that we did not lose his composure and showed no fear he used the tightening of salary and employment to threaten us and do unpaid overtime.
Then he decided to yell at me, I asked him not to do this in the middle of the office that is not polite and everything else, he resigned me.
Since last year it's very difficult to find a good job, I'm not even talking about salary, I'm talking about a good job even where I earn some money to live in the least in humility but at least work with legal and educated people.15
I started a months ago in a new company and I grab a horrible legacy system and what makes me more angry is they know the code isn't code and isn't fit our new reality but they don't want to refactor the same.
So which more features we produce more bugs comes along because the legacy code bugs still on there.4
I really do not understand why people do not use the defaults, I see a PHP code and I see all the PSR's violated, SOLID violated, and as it is something of years, unfortunately we did not get more rapporteur in a timely manner. I didn't go to college, but I must say, what the hell do you guys do in college?
Then many (the good obviously) programmers do not understand why they take so much the fun of PHP, if they see the codes that I see lately...2

This weekend I've been sending some resumes to see if I can get a good spot, I still keep looking for a good remote spot, because here companies are not accustomed to paying well and not to pay their passage to the workplace (but they require you to go there to do Something you can do from your home, much less your feeding cost.
In this previous post some colleagues of profession gave me tips for I got good remote jobs being from my country, I hope it all works out.
Although today Friday,
