Hearing "do this , do this like this, that like that" every day removes passion from programming I had before. Now I'm starting to get deeper into javascript and to learn backend, and I'm working on a CMS with NodeJS and MySql backend, and vanilla JS on the client side. I like the architecture I had, and really like how I started working on it. Passion is back!

So instead of installing Ubuntu alongside windows, somehow I'm installing pop! OS. Thanks brain!

Does anyone here has some tips to someone who is starting a small "company" for web/mobile development? I'm still a student, working as a front end developer from 7am to 3pm,and is in need of more money for personal reasons? Plus I live in a country from where people run away, and I want to start something my own.

So..there is 2 of us working on a Wordpress site, my job is front-end and make it look nice, the other persons job is to do some backend development(dont ask me what and why, I have no idea). Basically, I was waiting for the other person to finish his part so I can do front end development. I was expecting it to be just a theme, and then I fix it, add new stuff, etc etc, like usually..but the horror I saw, THE FUCKING "BACKEND" PERSON HAS ACTUALLY MADE A FUCKING THEME EVEN THOUGH IT IS MY FUCKING JOB. Now dont get me wrong, I wouldnt mind if I did almost zero work and got paid, but..THE FUCKING THEME WAS UGLY AS A TWO HEADED DICK SMOKING A FUCKING CIGARETTE. There was STRONG RED FUCKING EVERYWHERE, padding between posts was basically -20px. Well ok, I could have just started making a new theme, but there was already some stuff in this one we needed so I went it it and tried to make it look nice. And trust me, it is great now, great colors, fonts, shadows, button animations, everything, even looks great on mobile.

I started making some changes to the header, and I noticed that post title changes also..hmm wonder why..So I inspect element and what do I see, TAG OF THE FUCKING POST TITLE IS <HEADER>???? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, IF YOU TRIED TO DO SOME FRONT END, AND YOU SAY YOU KNOW SOME, WHY DO FUCKING FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT???????? WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO MY JOB IF YOU SUCK AT IT??? Finally decided to switch from windows 10 to a Linux distro, probably Ubuntu, with a macOS theme because I just love the design of it. Main reason for using windows was Skype and Photoshop, but I don't use that anymore and I don't do gaming. I just hope that in terms if development/programming, I will be able to do everything I could on Windows. Laptop I use is Dell inspiron 15 3542 and I think it already sometimes comes pre-installed with Ubuntu, so I guess that's good.

Started working with React Native a week ago because of work, and I just hate it. I know it has better performance then, lets say Ionic, but holy shit its a torture for me to work in it. I never was, and will be a fan of React, so imagine working with it for 8 hours a day..

Something I would like to finish :
- Learn server-side language so I can create more then front end. In my case I'm learning asp.net core.
- Finish a project called coffeeBreak. Users adds some web sites he likes to read and he reads them all in one page without opening multiple tabs.
- Finish a simple Reddit client for mobile, and make a desktop app out of it.
- Go through all the Pluralsight courses I have on my PC

My client had a meeting and presentation of app for one possible client of that app. I, as a developer of that app, left a hardcoded id,I saw it but forgot about it immediately. Let's just say filtering did not work properly. Sorry.

I'm seriously beginning to hate when blog platforms (like WordPress), are being used as a God damn CMS with thousands of plugins, e-commerce and stuff like that.. At my new job, we use WordPress. So obviously there's shitload of stuff to rant about. But because of those shitload WordPress stuff, I don't have the time to rant about it, and after work , don't wanna think about it.

I have a job(not really paid enough), and tomorrow I have a job interview for a front end developer at a company thats around 1 hour drive where I live, so the company is in the different city. Main reason I want a job(a good paying one) is because I want start living there.. start my own life. Everything would be fine but Im 22 years old and 3rd year in college. College is in my hometown where I live now. So every week I would have to catch a bus to my hometown to go to college, and then back.. My parents don't really aprove of this, and I will get no help from them if I move away.. Yeah, waited for this interview tomorrow for a month, and had many arguments and fights, and even one "panic attack". Pretty stressfull time for me now.. Can't wait to just see what will come out of this..

If I get the job, it will be a huge step for me, and probably lose some people who black mail me to not move away.. either I succeed or I fail..

Upgraded Ubuntu 16.04 to 17.10,everything went fine but now on login screen I can't move my mouse and keyboard is not responding. So obviously I can't log in. Did anyone encounter this and van help me solve it? Also, doing a fresh reinstall is not an option right now

I like the UWP idea, and in general how UWP look like.. But holy shit they suck.. It takes me fucking 2 minutes to open an UWP app it crashes at least once in those two minutes. And when I open them, its just a matter of time when it will crash.. Lets talk about Skype UWP, love the design, hate the perfomance. You know when Skype syncs? When I open it and wait a minute for it to be usable, and then it updates conversation.. Then.. And only then.. Whaf the fuck is wrong with it? The platform or developers?
